Such great importance it would be to travel at warp speed. Such lands we would see. Such destiny's we would have.
But does such bring peace and happiness to this world? Does it increase are spiritual nature for the better? Will the Earth turn into a sane planet?
I think religion is most definitely important, here, there and anywhere.

Religion is the less important of all things. I put away religion when I found out they were lying to me and telling me I had to do this or that to go to heaven. I found out that the Lord Jesus Christ died for my sins, and that He was buried and took my sins away and rose again the third day for my justification. He did it all for me and all I had to do was to believe and trust in Him. 1 Corinthians 15: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 1 Corinthians 15: 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

If you mean 'warp space travel' as in travelling faster than light, which is physically impossible, then you'll need God to help you achieve it. Supernatural things usually need our supernatural God.
Start praying now.

I would think that if we didn't get over our prejudices right here on Earth.
Which can only be done through personal spiritual experience. Which
removes doubt, and helps us see they spirit in everyone. Our prejudices
would only continue as we meet other races out there!

Religion has only ever really been important to itself. It doesn't matter what happens in the world around it. It will still try to perpetuate itself.
