We truly believe what we believe, yet sometimes we have doubts.

Thinking about anything that I truly believe (including MYSELF), I sometimes have doubts.

No matter how real a thing becomes to a human being, it is human nature to question/doubt.

"Lord, help me with my unbelief" is a constant prayer.

Faith/belief is strengthened as one builds his/her relationship with God, and as He shows Himself to the individual through personal experience and revelation.

Doubt in God starts with self-doubt (am I worthy to receive His undying love?) and misguided prayer (asking for things that are not within His will). Of course, if you fail to see yourself the way He sees you (worthy), eventually you'll start to doubt HIM, too. Likewise, if God's will is for you to "have not" for a while to learn something that will strengthen you, but you pray to "have" and don't get "in YOUR time", you would also start to doubt HIM. Doubt is self-propelled.

We (believers) endeavor to be "fully pursuaded", but it takes a lifetime.

Peace.

The majority of people lack conviction in their beliefs. Simply because they
don't take the time to discover what they are supposed to believe.
That's why they feel threatened by, and criticize things that they are
supposed to believe themselves.
Mr BorgPet. Did you know there are intelligences out there, that have
fantastic spiritual abilities? But think they are only within their technological
abilities?
Do people even consider how all these colors and images, and the mouse
going around the screen, and clicking the right thing on, WORK?
Just technology, huh?

I frequently doubt things I believe as new evidence comes up. However, no evidence has come up to show any gods to exist. I really don't have any doubt that gods are totally man-made.

Yes, I do have doubts some times. The older I get the less I have them. I've seen some wonderful works of God.
