For a first date I think a little chat in some park, restaurant or wherever is the easiest and most comfortable/informal way of getting to know each other. A candle light dinner sounds beautiful and romantic, but only for a couple, when you already know and love eachother. But I think most traditional indian girls meet their prospective life partner at their house itself, when the prospective groom comes with his family to meer her and her family. Watch Vivaah for that, it looks quite cute.

a candle light dinner would be my choice from the options that u gave but my preference would be first a movie and then dinner....really casual yet can get romantic if u want things to...
