You have scared her off. You acted to hastily and she probably thinks there is something wrong with you. I don't think there is anything you can do now accept learn from this experience, and when you meet someone new, that you start to fall in love with, take it real slow and steady. When the time is right, you will get all the right signs from the girl, then you can pop the question. Sorry, hope you managed to get over this and move on. The question above says you don't propose to someone after 4 months, but my husband proposed after only 7 weeks. When it is real love and is equally shared by two, then the time is right. There is no actual time scale.

Did you meet each other twice after you proposed, or before?
It sounds like she really doesn't share the same feelings with you - because she wouldn't otherwise say that she actually hates her.
If the case really is so that she really dislikes you - then you should try to move on, get more busy into something else (some hobby), and really get focused on not to think about her.
You can be happy - and so much happier...!
Dont be too sad. Give it time. And move on.

you are experiencing hormone love. It feels like real love but real love is not so intense. What you have is unhealthy love. You would be happy if you were away from her if you really loved her (as long as she was happy and safe) But safe is obviously not with you. How old are you? You dont propose to somebody after 4 months. You have to get past the stage of hormones.

First of all, don't ever propose over the phone, second of all she probably just got scared, i mean when you get married, you don't have that much freedom and hanging out with our girlfriends and going to places like shopping and manicures.

If you truly love her and she loves you then give it time. At least a year will be fine. The best test of love is time.

If you really love her you'll be patient and you will start praying for her; maybe you don't understand that but it is the best way to know if the girl is the ONE!

you should do as she has asked and leave her alone....If you've met her twice, it is not love....it is infatuation or lust or both and you are becoming obsessed....scary...move on with your life and let her do the same
