It is a long flight but it's a life experience for them you should def bring them. I have been travelling with my daughter since she was 2 (she's 6 now) and all you need do is bring some things in you hand baggage to keep them occupied I usually bring some colours , colouring books, also some story books & a deck of cards for playing snap etc. and when she was younger I made sure to bring her favourite doll to make her feel at ease. The cabin crews are usually very accommodating aswell and don't forget they will sleep for a good portion of the flight too. Also remember it's just a flight a compared to the experience of HK it's nothing. Good luck and if you do decide to go have a wonderful time.

what a nice offer, Why would you want to turn down a trip like that , On long distance flight´s in general , the company look after people very well , and especially when you have young children. You should call the air line you are going to travel with for more information, but I don´t think you should cancel the opportunity to go

Are you taking them for a special occasion? To see family?
If not then what is the reason for the trip? If it is just simply the opportunity is there, & the plan is for them to see somewhere new, travel on a plane for the first time why do it? Because none of this they will remember when they are older (your 4 yr old might, but the 2 yr old certainly won't).
So I'm sorry, but I can't see what the benefits are.

It'll be difficult cause it's a lot of time and they'll get tired and bored. Try to bring with you a portable DVD player with the movies and cartoons they like, some games, lots of snacks, interesting child books and try to get then curious about being in a plain, traveling through the skies, close to the clouds, flying like a superhero. Tell them lots of histories, play with them. It'll be very stressing for yourself but you may get them distracted for a good part of the trip. Oh...By the way.... Get a window seat and show them how things are small from above. They'll enjoy it. I hope so. I wish you a nice trip.

...yes 14 hours is a long time but think of how your girls will benefit long term...once they get there..talk to your 4 year old...my son is that age and is capable of making choices and decisions ..with a little of mum's guidance...she will keep the 2 year old amused and flight crew are trained to deal with bored kids...they will need their own seats..turn it into a magical, whirlwind adventure.....and if either of them suffer with travel sickness then speak to your doctor first...what my son was given at 1 year old for this just knocked him spark out for a 5 hour train journey...go for it..but make it fun for the girls...all a big adventure...have fun...and hide us in your suitcase please...lol

Take them only if you have the patience of a saint. The attention span of children that age is quite limited, so prepare for a difficult trip----for all.

I don't see why not take the kids...
I have flown with my son all over the world since he was 3 and we have always had a blast...
Games, crayons, blanky, teddy and off you go !
The more you expose them to life - the better !
Bon Voyage !

yes i don't see why you can't take your kids. it will be an adventure for them and they will probably sleep most of the way! just keep them occupied with toys and books etc and some boiled sweets as a treat will keep them happy!
p.s, can i come?!!!
