Reliance on money brings poverty. Without reliance on money there can be no poverty. Some people must be given a chance to become net-creators, instead of net-debtors. I'm sure this is a very easy solution. Why on earth was this guy awarded so much money? Isn't he more a part of the problem than the solution - getting people reliant on bank loans and not teaching them how to become truly independant??????

If you research medieval England before the advent of paper money and controlling bankers, you will be surprised to find that there was very little poverty at all, people had enough plots of land to feed their families and those who did not were usually allowed some land to plant by the church and only a small percentage of the vegetables grown was made as a thanksgiving to the local church.
When King Henry 8th allowed the setting up of the Bank of England real debt and poverty was born and ever since peoples of all nations have been paying back interest on loans that never seem to diminish.

Reliance on money or mammon is not the problem. the problem is not relying onGOD who is our everlasting help and source.

The financial problem increases because we no longer trade in goods but rely on the system for the goods. the system is corrupt. the financial sources are corrupt.

what brings poverty is we do not give unto GOD what belongs to GOD. because ceasars head is on a coin or queen Eliz head is on a coin do not make them our source. GOD is our source.

Sorry, but even before money, there were rich and poor people. There were some that went hungry and others that managed to accumulate a lot of wealth and eat well.

Credit is a crucial element of everyday life, and independence comes from being able to handle it wisely. The most serious error Muhammad made in crafting the Qur'an was failing to recognize the importance of credit.
