Yahoo said I was offensive to answer a question on the universe with an Christian response. The response was "God silly". Now, I feel there is not just cause for me to get a write-up from Answers. To be honest, I would rather be kicked off the internet than to be told that I cannot mention God. So, if you were in the situation, would you think an apology is necessary? God forbid.

SLK; it variety of feels to me that when anybody comments a question, (for regardless of reason), that Yahoo on no account questions the checklist. we've all had a brilliant number of violations and deletions for "meant" infringement of the "regulations" while the regulations are meaningless in view that's reported, yet noone yet yet another laptop each analyzes it. (Is that a run- on sentence?) I purely think of i might prefer to speak awhile. i like getting violations besides, so if i pass to get punished, might besides do it massive time. while i became right into a newborn and that i've got been given punished for some thing somebody else did, or some thing that i did not DO, I often retaliated by using doing some thing two times as undesirable. so as that's why i'm perfect here chatting away in order that whoever little stinkpants can "checklist IT" so now they have a very good reason. Am I dropping it? sure, possibly.

Don't be upset while not forgetting that the “violations” are “judged” by some routine which presumably is not perfect. If we knew the criteria, we could have a better idea about the functioning of this “policeman”. The reports of other users are presumably also taken into account, automatically again. You shouldn’t expect humans to monitor all theses Questions and Answers, of course…
To give you an idea, see below my violation to the question:

Question: VIOLATIONS on here!!?
Question Details: Conspiracy Theory

Source(s):

Deleted Answer: Conspiracy Theory
Reason of Violation: Spam & Advertisement

Note that the reference to a link for the film “Conspiracy Theory”, was considered ”Spam & Advertisement” (sic)

I think you are wasting you time if you expect yahoo to take back the violation notice.

I got one when i told a young child not to ask questions on line about illegal activity. I contacted yahoo over this and was ignored. Yahoo are idiots. If they can let kids ask questions about drugs etc then its obvious where they stand.

I think for yahoo its all about ratings!

But i do also think you should be very careful about how you voice your christian beliefs. I have no probs with your beliefs. I personally don't believe in god yet my children all go to christian schools and are all believers but they also know to be careful about how they share their views so that don't upset others.

Take care

If you are posting assertions about the will of a god whose existence cannot be proven, yes, others are going to think you are silly.

"Because god sasy so" may be an acceptable answer to other christians. It's definitely a non-thinking response where the rest of us are concerned.

NO I do not, this is getting quite ridiculous and you should challenge yahoo about this, there is far too much knee-jerking going on here than is necessary.
How ridiculous is it to have a Religious section where you cannot mention God,this would be like having a cookery section where you are not allowed to mention food.

Whatever the question and however it was framed, I think your answer is too short and unclarified enough to be taken out of context.Do not leave yourself exposed to mis-interpretaion by readers as this is a typing forum and people may not know you as to how you mean your answer to be read. Go for clarity always and do not leave yourself open to those who are reading your responses.

I think you have the right to your own opinion, if that it what you believe.

People making fun of others' questions though would not necessarily be an appropriate response, since it doesn't answer the merits of the question.

It was probably for calling the asker silly, so don't go off about mentioning God. In my opinion judging by your remarks it is YOU that's the actual "silly" one

God is silly. However, Christians feel that their religious superstition somehow deserves some kind of default respect that's to a much much higher degree than anything else that people disagree on.

NO! they should respect your beliefs and allow you to think what you want. we as Christians are looked down upon mostly because our religion says that hmans are sinful-- so they want to blot us out. Paul never gave up speaking about God-- even when he was enprisoned and tortured!
