yes, you are right, there are many intelligent people, but "god's foolishness is wiser than mens' intelligence" and alot of people have forgotten this and don't have reverence for an almighty, all-knowing, loving god. Many people shun the beautiful gospel of Jesus Christ-which is God's awesome plan of salvation for all those who believe.

The world always had intelligent people. The problem is that these intelligent people didn't rule, it was and always is that the stupid ones rule. The intelligent just sit back and let the stupids do all the bad work so that they will take advantage of the opportunities later. You see being intelligent doesn't mean you are good too, unfortunately.

Too many people want to be chief instead of an Indian, i.e., too many intellectuals want to run the world, and dictate the situation, thus, it causes mass confusion. If we would work together, elect someone that doesn't have an ego a mile long and thinks they know everything, the world would be a better place to live.

People may be pretty intelligent today what with all our technology but this does not mean that they have much common sense or indeed wisdom to apply this intelligence.

You have answered your own question. Too many people think they are intelligent and they cant be wrong. So the problems are too often debated for far too long.

First, depends on whats intelligence, second, increasing teh populaion increases problems, third controversy around benifits and rights, lastly but not finally, i think we need wisdom not intelligence

Humans were emotional animals long before we became rational ones. An emotional argument still trumps a rational one these days. That's why religion is so wide-spread.
