limewire is the best ive seen so far. of course nothing is 100% but this program has been really good to me with music and videos. heres a tip though. a typical song (say 3-5 mins long) is gonna be anywhere between 3,000-6,000 kb. Knowing this, dont look for a song and start downloading something that only says its 43kb. this is obviously not what you want nor want to know. just be smart with what you download. Having a spyware program on your comp that can check items before you open them really helps too.

There is no program that will be 100% safe which downloads music for free. Since you are doing something illegal there will always be a risk. There is no big company monitoring illegal copies of songs being downloaded and checking if they are real or not. You take a risk when you choose to do something illegal. You just need to make sure you either know what you are doing, or, if you really want to go the safe route, download something like iTunes and pay the 99 cents for the song and know that it will be safe and not contain any viruses.

There is no software ...Limewire,Morpheus. Bearshare, or any of them that are safe from viruses or spyware. If you download music, games or video sharing you always take the risk of getting a virus or spyware. I use bittorrents and I have used them for over 2yrs and have yet to get a virus or spyware of anykind from them....Good luck

Limewire has it all music, videos, programs, pictures, documents but it's too risky. a lot of viruses, trojans, spyware can gain access to your system.
If you have money, rather download music legally through itunes, musicmatch, real, urge etc.
