What piercings and tattoo's do you have and is there a limit????

I have both piercings and tattoo's and i think they are addictive.

I have pierced:

My Ears twice,
eyebrow,
nose,
tongue twice,
naval four times,
back, and my hood

Tattoos i have:

Shoulder blade moon and sun,
bottom of back celtic design,
top of left wrist four leaf clover,
bottom of right wrist dolphin,
stomach three leaf clover,
left hip chinese symbol,
right hip chinese symbol,
pubic area three paw prints with my dogs names and
top of right foot a rose design.

All my tattoos can be hid in for every day work!!!

I would like more but need to think about what and where to have them!

Oh and my left nipple - Don't know how i forgot that one because that was the most painful

Tattoos:
Right & Left shoulder blades = comedy/tragedy
upper back center = wingless fairy (she's my muse)
below that = 'passion' in kanji
mid-center back = tirskel w/ a panther face inside
mid-lower back = wolf moon
mid-center back right = mathematical symbol for infinity
right hip = 4 leaf clover (my first tatoo)
left hip = 'sisters in blood' in elvish (my sister and I share this)
outside left wrist = 'defy gravity'
inside left wrist = keyhole w/ eye and 3 tears
inside upper forearm (near wrist) = tribal design

Ideas: A set of wings (still drawing those presently) on the open spaces on my back from shoulders to hips (big tattoo, very spensive.. vera painful ;) )

A tattoo on the back of my neck

I've always wanted my labre pierced ;)

AS for a limit... Honestly I think the limit is simply what you or your body can tolerate ;)

4 in left lobe
4 in right lobe with bottom one streched to 3mm
2 in right helix
nose
tongue
2 in right side of lip

Tattos I have are:

fairy on lower right of back
fallen angel ambigram on left arm
kanji symbol meaning begining on right breast

I think everyone has there own limits! Ive gone off my piercings for a bit & now im concentrating on my tattoos! There are so many I want but money is limiting me right now! I think I will know when its time to stop with the ink & piercings! What will be enough for me will probablly seem like alot to some people & at the same time not very much to others!

I have my tongue, both nipples (they weren't that painful at all), a vertical hood piercing, both ears, and I had my labret done but I took it out once my son started getting more curious about pulling on things.
I'm working on a tattoo design in memory of my dad who passed away last year, I don't have any yet.
I personally do not think that you should get a tattoo unless it has actual meaning to you. Whether it is a reminder of a major event or the particular symbol has a deep meaning to you. Asking other people will not give meaning to your design. This is something that is going to be on you for the rest of your life unless you elect for expensive and painful surgery.
I fully agree that they are addictive but sometimes things have to stop.
I'm not saying that you are at that point, I couldn't care less how many body mods other people have, but if you are out of meaningful designs perhaps it is time to rethink your decision to get another tattoo.

I believe that only the individual knows when they are done, or have too much.

as far as Tattoos and piercings I have,

Tattoos:
Both arms are full sleeves, with both hands covered; lots of skulls and flame work.
My chest is covered; Huge dragon, and a symbol for chaos
My back is almost completely covered dragons and skulls
left leg almost completely covered; lots of faces twisted in agony
Right leg has alot of small tattoos on it, about 35
stomache has a cool viking motif
bottoms of my feet have both been tattooed
I also have a tattoo on my sack

I have a few piercings
from the top;
left eyebrow has a silver ring
left ear is pierced 13 times
left nostril has a silver ring
left nipple has a gold ring

Hi,

I have just started out getting piercings, I've had my ears done 3 times each side, the top of my left ear pierced twice (but they were years ago) and most recently I've had my top lip pierced.

I don't think that there should be a limit but it can be quite addictive- oh well I like it!!!!

People keep telling me 'scare' stories of how bad certain things scar and look bad when your 70 but who cares. I have to say that you must have a high pain threshold, I don't think I'm that brave.....

I don't think there is a limit-other than your own personal limit, if that makes sense?

I have my ears and my belly pierced, and 2 tattoos: one on my lower back and one on my left foot. I do want another tattoo though but then I'm going to stop-that is my limit.

And as for my skin going saggy-maybe it will, maybe it won't, time will tell but I'm living for the now!

Right arm sleeve in progress,Abdominal clan crest ect ect all can be seen on my 360.I love extreme tattooz i have a hand peice in the making.To much is never enough i have ink addiction oh and i love outline pain its great therepy.I can't live by other peoples standards its my life and i'll live it my way if people dont like it they can bite my as* and look the other way.I think females look fantastic with full bodysuits there are some female japanese suits on my 360 maybe try a half sleeve and work from there.Just do what you want done facial art and hand art can be great just don't listen to other people do what you want to do.Good Luck.

i have my ears and belly button done will never have a tattoo. I find people who pierce parts of there face and all over there body disgusting, a couple is ok the same for tattoo's a couple are enough more then say 3/4 is just horrible

I had my tongue pierced, my right nipple, my belly button and ears.
I have a sun on my arm, a butterfly outline on my shoulderblade, a tribal and butterfly custom on bottom of my back, a dragon and flowers custom on outside of my thigh and a pegasus and stars on the inside of my calf.
I think inside calf is a good place as its not always on show and not as common as the outside.
I think the same as you; they are addictive and i think the limit is the amount that you personally want. some people are happy with one while others go for the full body suit!

There really is no limit. But there is something as 2 many piercings & tattoos.
