I can't have any children and I was wondering if there are women out there who don't want children and why not?

There are many women who, for one reason or another, do not want the responsibility, lifelong committment, or emotional roller-coaster of having children. They may be dedicated to a career or a lifestyle that is not compatible with the time, cost, and energy involved in parenting a child. I applaud those who admit they don't want children and then take necessary precautions so that they don't have children they don't want. There are many people out there who should never have become parents. The children are victims of their lack of responsibility and will have a lifetime problem dealing with issues caused by parents who gave them less than their best.

I didn't want any children. My reason - how the world is. At 35, I got pg and was married and was not planning on having any. But I did and I'm so grateful that I have one lovely daughter and it's been a ride, but well worth it.

i don't want to have any children, because a child is a great responsibility. however, i don't approve of abortion, but that's another issue.
