You can go to your school's counseling/administration department and ask there for scholarships and grants information. There are also websites like FAFSA. I think going to your school's department is a better way to go since you'd get a lot more options

There are five sources for scholarships out there. It is free to locate them, and free to apply for consideration from the individual scholarship. However, it takes time to hear from them if you were selected or not tor receive a scholarship.

First, a high school guidance office is an excellent source for the high school student to locate a local scholarships.

Second, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some of them not even located on the web.

Third, search Google.com and Yahoo.com for scholarships based on your college major, race, ethnicity, and religion.

Fourth, a college financial aid office has a list of private scholarships available from companies and organizations. Also, sometimes a college major's website will contain it.

Finally, join several free membership scholarship search websites. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search.
