No, Spirituality is a condition conscious belief whereas religion is a system consisting of structured codes of conduct and regulations. Some people blend spirituality with religion to get them to take the religion willingly.

Religion is spiritual and spirituality is religious. One tends to be more personal and private while the other tends to incorporate public rituals and organized doctrines. The lines between one and the other are not clear and distinct —
They are all points on the spectrum of belief systems known as religion. many people have a form of religion, but denieing God as the center of thier religion, that is the spititual side.

It is supposed to be, the word religion is meant to mean following the path or returning to, the Spirit/God. But today it seems to me that it means belonging to one of the cults out there, cults sounds like it comes from the word cultivated/culture, organised religion is a culture. All of the ones I have come across so far have the same intrinsic problems, the humans that are within them, as usual nothing has changed much !! The reason they killed Jesus was because he was for real, and the religious authorities can't have that now, can they! More than their jobs worth!

There are similar, almost synonymous, though not entirely. Spirituality relates to the spirit and everything about it. Whereas religion relates to beliefs, ways, routes, paths towards a higher existence, hope, happiness, God, spirituality, greater understanding of self, etc.

An example will answer better than anything else. ex:
One tribe of people all believe in one God and creator who they believe is the sun. All the men acknowledges the suns importnace for providing light and life around the earth. One man in particlar, after pondering this all for a while, decides it is important to bask in the Suns glorious light as much as we can, and gives offering early that morning to the sun. SOme belive this is a good way and follow him. BOOM there is a religon.
Spirituality is the belief in something more, religion is the practices you follow that reafirm your faith.

Spirits are created by God. Religions are created by man. In attempting to reach God or Heaven, we can do it man's way or we can choose God's way.
When a person asks Jesus Christ to forgive them of their sins and to be their Lord and Savior, that involves faith, not religion. Faith involves the human spirit. The bible says that we are justified by faith not by works of good deeds or religion. And finally, it was the religious leaders who rallied and begged the Romans to hang Jesus on the cross. But that's great because it was their religiosity that opened the door to faith in Christ.
So no. Contrary to the world's popular view, religion and spirituality are not linked. People make them linked. This is why people erroneously lump christianity in the category of religion when in fact they are contrary to each other.

The dicationary says about 'spiritual' relating to deep feelings and beliefs, especially religious beliefs. To me religion and spirituality are two faces of one coin.

No, Religions have different beliefs. Catholics, pentecostle, babtist and so on. Although people of these religions call themselves christians that's not necessarily true. Christianity is a belief not a religion and spirituallity is linked to christianity. Just like believers are not all necessarrily christians. True christians follow Jesus and become christ-like as the bible says we are to do. We are to be of 1 sound mind and that is the mind of christ. "CHRIST"-ians
