It is supposed to be, the word religion is meant to mean following the path or returning to, the Spirit/God. But today it seems to me that it means belonging to one of the cults out there, cults sounds like it comes from the word cultivated/culture, organised religion is a culture. All of the ones I have come across so far have the same intrinsic problems, the humans that are within them, as usual nothing has changed much !! No, Religions have different beliefs. Catholics, pentecostle, babtist and so on. Although people of these religions call themselves christians that's not necessarily true.
