the answer of the Scriptures, John 3:16 teaches us: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH on him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
God sent forth his Son, born of woman (Gal 4:4)

After the fall of Adam and Eve mankind was in a state of rebellion against it`s Creator and therefore enemies of Gods sinless order, man himself could not restore the imbalance so God sent His beloved Son to do this for us.
Jesus Christ by his life,death and resurrection brought us back to a state of renewed friendship with God the Father and made us heirs to His kingdom, and this is why we can say with complete confidence that God so loved the world.

It is more than hope, It is life itself. It is a future after death. All will get their reward. Some will end up in their own hell, because they are sorry they didn't do better. Just a little more effort would have gotten them a much higher reward. Instead they are imprisoned with the filthy who are liers, theives, murderers. Hitler will be there with them and all the rest of the horrible side of humanity, that is the hell that is promised.
