The pups were at home before we got the bigger one. She seemed to be getting along well with them till a few days ago. We initially thought she might have a urinary tract infection and gave her an antibiotic dosage. But it hasnt made any change and our vet says she doesn't seem to have any medical problem, that she just might want to urinate more. We take her out three to four times a day. Is that normal? As for urinating on the pups bed, is she being spiteful or just asserting herself as the alpha in the pack?

Get a new bed for the pups, first. Once the older dog has urinated there, whether or not it was territorial, she will continue to do her business there now because the scent remains. There is a chance that one of the pups urinated there first, and she did the doggy thing and did the same, the same way they do it when sniffing on walks.

If she continues this behavior even when the pups have a new bed, it may be pack-related issue, but it wouldn't make sense for it to be happening if the dogs initially got along.
