You don't have to. That's silly. Pretty hard to call it Christmas when it's a contraction of "Christ's mass". Nobody's telling you to take Christ out of Christmas and call the holiday something else.
But you do have to realize that Christmas isn't the only holiday being celebrated this time of year and thusly, Christmas does NOT have a monopoly on the month of December. So Christmas has to share its space with the holidays of other religions. Share, not dominate or disappear.
And Christianity isn't the only religion in the world, so sharing is just being FAIR to everyone, including Christians. If you can't handle that, then that's just too bad.

I would like to know who is making you take the Christ out of Christmas? Who is telling you that you can not call it Christmas? I know of no one who is offended by someone saying merry Christmas. Christmas is a christian holiday yule is a pagan holiday, Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday, Kwanzaa is an African holiday. Nowhere is there legislation to take Christ out of Christmas or to adopt a law prohibiting anyone from saying merry Christmas. Dec. 25th is christmas. It is every year and will be every year. Some people like saying happy holidays to include the other religious and secular holidays around this time or just to include the new year without saying some long drawn out greeting. I swear I really cant figure out why these religious fanatics think the antichrist is taking over every time someone says happy holidays.

What incoming religions are you talking about? Last time I checked holidays like Hanukkah, Yule, etc. have been around for ages. Some even predate Christianity/Christmas. As far as I'm concerned you can keep Christ in your Christmas because it's your holiday not mine. Just don't be surprised when you say "Merry Christmas". I'll answer you back with "And, Happy Yule to you too!".

Let me say this as a Hindu.
Never ever allow an existing belief system be replace by another.
Wherever this has taken place there is bloodshed.
Just look at the World today. Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, parts of India, the Sudan, Chechnya etc. etc.
I am totally against the Political Correctness, especially when applied to a faith that has been established for over 2000 years.
The government is totally incorrect in stopping their offices from putting up Christmas decorations.

As Christmas is meant to represent the birth of Christ, (although the dates are wrong and were pinched from the Pagan religion) perhaps Christians should be the ones to celebrate it. Those who don't follow the same religion have their own celebrations. Sadly we've lost the meaning of Christmas, if you ask a child in a school where the idea of Father Christmas came from, many say that Coca cola invented him. None know about St. Nicholas. All religions including Pagan/Druid should have the right to their celebrations, none force others to join them and it is their human right to be allowed to express their beliefs however they wish.

If we take out Christ from anything then there will be a price to be paid and even non-Christians will suffer.A lot of aid is given in the name of Christ and a lot of money changes hand during Christmas.I think every good religion should be encouraged to keep it fair.

Because it's been turned into a huge scam. People don't ask what are you going to get Jesus for Christmas? Let me ask any of you and be honest how many of you have ever bought a present for Jesus instead of expecting something for yourself? Take the Christ out of Christmas because most people don't care about his birthday it's about the crap your gonna get for this scam of a holiday. Tell me I'm wrong.

Because Christmas isn't a Christian holiday. It actually means "Christ Mass" it is a catholic holiday which replaced the day which many of the sun god's were born, the 25th of December. The Church tried to combine pagan and Christians together under one banner, this was merely the result. Jesus was born around September.
Email me if you want proof to his birth date.
