What is the innovation?
The innovation is Bundaberg Rum. A type of spirit that was originally made in Jamaica.
When was it developed?
Bundaberg rum was developed in the 1903 on April the 4th.
Who developed it?
Three sugar millers, Jake Gordon, Ross Clark and James O’Brien .
Where was it developed?
The Town in QLD Australia called Bundaberg (hence the name Bundaberg Rum).
Describe how it works.
Rum is very refreshing and is the perfect drink for aussies because it is usually very hot here.
It is usually served with ice and coke or very cold.

What type of need does it satisfy?
Like many aussies we all love alcohol and there for it satisfies the need for a great tasting drink that cools you down on a hot summers day.
Has is been modified or created from scratch?
Rum is a known product of Jamaica. But Bundaberg rum has its own taste made from sugar cane grown in the local area.
Almost every country has its own version of rum that they call their own and our Bundaberg rum is one of them.
How Does it benefit people?
Other than reaching for a very expensive bottle of wine people now reach for a nice cheap can of rum. It benefits people because it is much cheaper than buying other alcohols that cost lots of money and taste worse. Makes people feel euphoric.
