I think that "i" statements are pretty good. Just be striaght up and tell them "I am really not appreciating (whatever it is they are doing)" Maybe even add something along the order that you don't want them to be offended by it, and that you enjoy thier company if it were not for the action being done.

Honestly, I'd say if they are really picking on you, just politely come out and say it.
But, if that isn't the case and if whats really happening is that they are criticizing you say, "I appreciate your criticism, but that's not really not what I'm looking for at the moment."

Tell the person very politely that God can hear and see everything they do, even the things that go on inside their head that they never share with anyone, and when they die they are going to have to give an account to God regarding all the things they've done in their lives, and they ask him/her if what they are going to say to God when He asks them about how he/she treated you?
That will shut them up for sure.

If they're picking on me, I don't care about being polite.
I just warn them.
I don't tell people to shut up.
I just move away & ignore them.
