It depends on where in Lapland you're flying to.
Lapland covers Norway, Sweden, Finland and parts of Russia.
Most Xmas flights seem to go to Rovaniemi in Finland, which would be a 90-minute flight from Glasgow.
Wrap up well and enjoy the Northern Lights if they're out :-)

Toronto is one of the most multicultural diverse towns in the world and with hotelbye you will have the chance to visit it. Toronto is a crank, if the wheatear is great; is a radiant, big-time city abuzz with activity. In Toronto you will discover some of the world's best restaurants but also popular landmark. Among the areas must-see from Toronto could be the 553 meters CN Tower. Magnificent over the downtown, the design is visible from almost all around the city. Visitors have the choice of merely appreciating the building from the ground, or having a trip as much as one of the observation areas or restaurants for wonderful views of the town and Lake Ontario. The CN Tower was built between 1972 and 1976 and was when, quite a long time before, the highest freestanding design in the world.

Assuming you're talking direct flights Glasgow to eg. Rovaniemi, you're looking at 2.5-3 hrs. Of course, Finland (if that's where you're headed) is two hours ahead of the UK so don't forget to factor that into your plans.
Say hello to Santa whilst you're there!
