For me, i'd rather have none. Because sometimes when studying, music just becomes a distraction, specially when you know the lyrics of that song. But if you must have some music, i'd recommend something classical or something that won't be LOUD enough that you won't be able to hear yourself think.

No music at all. You need to focus on what the f*ck you're doing. You cannot afford to split your attention because even if you feel like the music doesn't subtract from it, it really does. Study in silence. I mean, if you REALLY had to have music, go for classical. That shouldn't be too disturbing...

If you chosse your own music, you amy spend more time changing tracks instead of doing work, so try some muzak.

depends. some or all music may be distracting to you, or music may help you focus. try classical. something very calming helps me.....classical is good tho because theres no words in it, so its much less distracting.
