I agree with the other posters. Having been cheated on and not having cheated, I don't understand it. It sucked, but you learn pretty quickly that no one wants to hear about it, so you move on.
In my opinion it comes from insecurity. The cheater has feelings that are contrary to the relationship, but is not yet willing to give up the relationship.

Then for goodness sake leave him. Once a liar and cheat always a liar and cheat! He either will not or cannot change. I feel sorry for you involved with a liar. My ex wife was a huge liar and we are now divorced and you have to go a long way to find either a male of a femal who does not either lie or exaggerate to their partner. You are unlucky in findingthis men but trust me we are not all liarsand many men such as me find women are the liars. The fact is that some but not all men are liars and some but not all women are liars the skill is tofind one that does not lie. I am 52 now and only found one such woman this year and we are now happilly married with no lies.

u know maybe u r a good girl but i have been screwed over so many times and i have never cheated, and i don't lie because i suck at it and i feel guilty. so becareful there r good guys out there. just remember there r alot of bad women out there that lie and cheat. if u don't believe me read some of the question women write on here. i just read one where a girl was sleeping with 3 guys and they found out and dumped her. she is upset wondering why her. the kicker is 5 women that answered said it wasn't her fault guys r jerks. when guys do something wrong women r all over it. when women do something wrong, women find some stupid excuse to make alrt. u show me a woman that takes responsibilities for her own actions and i will kiss ur dogs butt. have a nice day :)

First of all not all men cheat/lie.You say you have one at home so ask him.Why he cheats? Why he feels the need to lie to cover it all up?He should be able to tell you although it may not be the answer you want to hear.

Two kinds of cheating men. Bums who cheat 'cause they can and don't care about you. Guys who cheat 'cause they aren't getting what they need at home.

men lie to get out of trouble (don't want to tell you the truth and have you in a crying fit) and they cheat because they can.

married or not, men will have as many girls out there as they can possibly manage.

yeah, girls cheat also. i've never cheated. and never will. It's just the guys you go for. some just want the sex. and they will date you untill something better comes along. It's cause they were never breast fed when they were babies.
