Can i take Excedrin pain relief tablets while taking Cephalexin and Clindamycin after taking tylenol with codeine 6 times (that didn't work)?...Excedrin seemed to work before the doc told me to take the latter and the others.

It is 3am in the morning i would ask him, but cannot.

Wow! your making quite a cocktail there Mister. If anything you should puke.
Why don't you stick what your doctor told you and follow his directions. The Tylonel is O.K. for a fever but, keep it down. That infection once taken care of, see the dentist and get it taken care of too.

Um, well, yes. The cephalexin and clindamycin are antibiotics., and that answers my earlier question as to why the tylenol with codeine aren't working. Sometimes if you have a really bad infection, no pain medicine will work. Go ahead and take the excedrin, but if it does not work, don't take anything else for a few hours....may i ask where your pain is?? email me shelly289909@yahoo.com.

Wow, you've got quite an infection going on. Take the Excedrin but don't exceed the maximum dosage. I might be able to suggest some other pain relief measures if I knew why you're on ceph & clinda. Does this have anything to do with that tooth?

Excedrin is okay, as it is aspirin, typlenol, and caffeine. You can take it safely with the antibiotics without any problem. Since you have taken Excedrin you already know that you shouldn`t have any reaction to it.

There is a website WWW.drugs.com go to the section for drug interaction checker. You can put in all the medications you are taking both over the counter and prescriptions, and it Will tell you what interaction they have together and with foods.
I have had problems taking codeine as well. It seems to have an opposite effect on me and I get really wired which tends to increase pain.
