Yes it is so the Bible tells us that we should love our enemies and pray for them but it is to humans, there is no hope for the devil because he has gone in direct opposition to God and did so knowing whad he was doin100%,he is God's enemy, and is also humans worst enemy in the Biblehe is even called a manslayer(John8:44) and he is doomed soon to the abyss, we don't need a relationship with the devil, No we should not love God's enemy the one who slandered God's name, and stole humans alegence to God and is still working to his wicked desires to proove God as a rightful ruler he became a wicked wicked being by his desire to get the worship God'sright to rule he wants for himself, that selfish desire is what has caused so much misery in this world, this is all down from Satan the devil yet humans blame God for it. No he does not deserve the love or forgiveness, it would not be just to do so. I hope that helps unconfuse you! God will bless you if you try to find out the truth from your heart you will find it.

there is no exception.
have you ever seen enemies won over as friends because of love?
have you ever treated a bully with love and if the bully asks you for a dollar, you give him two? have you ever been slapped on the cheek, then said slap me again on the other side? turning the other cheek?
the enemy becomes confused as to why in the world a person would do this and would be very curious as to why. then it's the opportunity to share your faith about God and why.

You make a good point but... The bible does say that but it says hate what is evil, Satan is evil so hate him and everything to do with him. Our enemies are of flesh not spirit. And yes we are to pray for them and forgive them, by doing this we prove that God is Love.

Eye for a watch, the tooth for the tooth does no longer mean what you think of it does. God's people did no longer knock out eyes or tooth. If the guy you injured became into unfastened, you had to pay him the value for the attention or the tooth. IF he became right into a slave, you had to set him unfastened. in case you killed somebody with the aid of twist of destiny, you ought to flee to a city of risk-free haven and stay their till the extreme priest died. in case you killed intentionally, you have been placed to dying. The case of dying is the only one the place the right element became into paid. additionally, even that thought became into disposed of with the aid of Jesus (cancelled with Christian regulation). Matthew 5:38-40 8. Debbie

The Bible is very clear in that we should hate and fear the devil. I highly recommend the series by Erin W. Lutzer about saten. I found it to be very straightforward and educational. Please check it out. And don't mix up Christian love and forgivness with the devil. Hate saten. We're supposed to.

Everyone can turn to God...so if we pray for them we can help. One of the Saint Parents used to pray for satan and finally God helped him understand that he doesn't want to repent and to be forgiven...

The most powerful prayers cannot help the devil; he had his chance and lost it.

Look at the context of Matt. 5:45. Jesus was talking about humans, not Satan.
