It seems like that doesn't it. This should be a place where people with different beliefs can exchange thoughts and ideas. Unfortunately there are too many extremists on both sides.

the accepted of the Q&A considering I first joined in 2006 variations each twelve months. I drop in on occasion hoping to work out the reincarnation of the particularly some previous crowd. regrettably, no. There was a ingesting game, too, right here. With specific ridiculous questions you may could take a chug or shot, and then, answer. After some hours it have been given hysterically humorous. people shaped Yahoo!answer on line marriages, had on line toddlers, cheating, and divorces. alongside the way have been some extreme discussions approximately R&S. Even between Christians and Atheist. Markyyy!!! nonetheless Love and pass over You!!!

Red Eye Agnostic has got me cracking up, but to answer your question it has always been this way.
Discuss away, I like discussing : )
Hey, want to see some cool bible verses ? If not, don't read em'
Revelation, chapter 4
6: and before the throne there is as it were a sea of glass, like crystal. And round the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind:
7: the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like a flying eagle.
8: And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all round and within, and day and night they never cease to sing, "Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"

I'm with Ol' jetpack....Ever since I found Answers and the R&S section,it's so hard to stay away from it because of all the stupidity here.I've asked some serious questions, most were to muslims, and one in general question that no could answer with being stupid. So I've just learned to answer honestly were I can,and get 2 points from the pointless questions.

Well, no, you often see real, actual religious questions here (ie, Christians asking Christians for advice), and prayer requests (which are of dubious legitimacy) -- both of which I leave alone.
Also, there's some discussion of Islam, a curious number of Wiccans hanging around here, and possibly a few Pastafarians.
Atheism does seem to be a frequent topic, but wouldn't you assume that it would be?

And the problem then becomes...anyone wanting to discuss a different idea a) gets jumped by one of or both camps or b) anyone who would actually want to discuss different ideas has been driven off.
Hence why I don't tend to ask anything having remotely to do with my own path on here.

Battle ground? I don't see it that way. Rather I see the R&S category as a fun, interesting, educational, and important forum.

Seems that way today. I'd be fine with taking a break from the bickering.
There must be a topic you find more compelling. Why not post a question about it?

Maybe you're right this is a chat fight, but what about the muslims, pagans and all the other false beliefs.
