I'm totally with you 100%. I also own 2 female Pittys ,their names are Piper and Tigger. Both of these dogs are my life. They sleep on my bed under the covers , sleep on my couch , follow me from room to room. They both are loyal family companions .How can the govt justify going into some ones home and taking their dog just because of the type of dog it is , or destroying a litter of newborn pups before they have a chance at life because of the type of dogs they are , then shelters having a no Pit Bull adoption policy ,they are automatically pts. Some of those dogs are the sweetest dogs in the world.Besides bsl breaking up famalies with their dogs, working Pits that save human lives wont have a chance to perform their jobs .They wont be allowed to . Then there's therapy Pits that wont be allowed to visit sick patients because of the type of dog it is.

Each dog bite incident should be based on a individual basis with that dog ,not a breed basis. This whole bsl thing is crazy and getting way out of hand , and our dogs are suffering because of it. Lastly the media doesn't help any niether. They feed into the whole frenzy ,then the public takes what the media says as gospel .9 times out of 10 the media reports misinformation. It's Pit Bull racism.

Humans shouldn't fear Pit Bulls , instead Pit Bulls should fear humans.

I agree with you somehow but unfortunatly you may agree with me that in most cases its the yobs and parasites who have thess dogs. You know the so called hard men with tattoes all over them. They are extremly dangerous animals in the wrong hands. They are great pets in the right hands but these scum breed these dogs for dog fights and they will steal your dog if given the chance for fighting or breeding so watch your dog very carefully, dont leave him on his own where people can see him .. They also steal dogs and blood them by throwing someones pet into the ring to be torn apart. They are very dangerous and evil people who do this.. These dogs can kill a man woman or child if attacked by them. They are very powerfull animals.. These scum are known to abandon these dogs on the streets when they have no more use of them and then the dog runs around mad and wild.. So to answer your question maby yes they should ban them because laws governing them dont work because of the underground elements who always find a way to beat the system. If they ban them all together then its more difficult for them to opperate. My brothers a dog Warden and he tells me some very bad stories about these scum bags..

I am totally against it. A dog is only as bad as the owner who raises it. I have seen some very mean small dogs. Any dog can be made to be mean-some dogs just look the part better than others.

I would like to profess myself to be an animal lover but there are some animals that do not belong living with people as pets & are a danger to people. Unfortunately, the horrid, tragic stories of young children being hurt or killed by specific breeds cause the reaction of strong laws. There are irresponsible owners & there are overly aggressive animals. These two points are facts. When these two facts come together it is usually someone innocent who is hurt badly. It's awful to think of having to give up a trusted, loyal, & loving pet because of these bans. How does one keep incidents of tragedy from happening if not thru a ban?

I'm all for it! There are too many irresponsible dog owners around. It's not the dog's fault...it's the owner. There are bad apples in all breeds. Pit Bull dogs just get a bad rap because some people think it's cute to use a dog to fight or to make it mean. It's not cute...it's irresponsible. Pit Bull's have a strong jaw and can inflict a very nasty bite due to their strength. They are the max muscle on four legs. Make it mean, and your have a loaded weapon. The max pressure psi is over 500 pounds. Laws are made because of the few bad apples. They make everyone else pay for their irresponsible behavior.

maximum dogs could be knowledgeable to be viscious. they at the instant are not born that way. I’ve heard of golden retrievers and labs, the between the friendliest breeds by using recognition, who've bitten. a particular breed isn't any assure that a dogs will or gained’t chew. returned, that's purely my opinion, yet i've got confidence over the years pit bulls and their close kinfolk in specific have been selectively bred for visciousness and could now be a "risky" breed. yet I’ve heard pit bull breeders argue passionately that they’re not greater carriers by using nature than the different breed. i became into bitten by using a daschund. I had an afghan hound who became right into a biter. i think the analyst in me might prefer to verify the purpose study that reveal one dogs is statistically greater carriers to biting. Now, coverage criminal accountability is yet another rely. until you prefer to truly reveal your self to economic criminal accountability, you fairly lots could pass alongside including your coverage enterprise’s standards. Many breed businesses are working with state legislatures to get breed-specific rules overturned (or not exceeded interior the 1st place), yet I’m uncertain which would be binding on coverage companies. We had condo property and we allowed dogs. To be honest, I on no account even considered the coverage impacts. i think we've been fortunate not something ever happened. basically a theory..... the thank you to declare this politically wisely.... in the experience that your "greater solid to hire" properties are in neighborhoods inhabited by using human beings in all likelihood to very own "risky" somewhat than greater benign dogs, that's beneficial to think of two times approximately your generosity.

Totally against them. There are no bad dogs, only bad owners.

I'm with you! Animals aren't born killers, it's bad people that train them to be that way. Our neighbors have pitbulls and they're about as deadly as teddy bears.
