What has it done for you? Has it change you or give u a peace of mind? Do you believe in the higher being?

Yeah in a sense I have a religion, but in another sense I do not.
Briefly put, Religion is man searching for God. A "road or search" for The Divine.
Religion (Religio) is "a system", man working or do things to find, please, or placate God.
Christianity is God (Jesus) looking and waiting for us! Please read Revelation 3: 20
I believe in Jesus Christ Our Lord.
MY FRIEND, SALVATION IS A GIFT; YOU HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO ACCEPT IT;AND LOVE THE GIVER. ALTHOUGH I HAD BEEN OFFICIALLY A CHRISTIAN ALL MY LIFE; FOR QUITE ALONG I WAS ACTUALLY AN AGNOSTIC, THEN BUDDHIST THEN CATHOLIC. I FELT RICH AND HAPPY IN THE GIFT AND I AM SURE YOU CAN, TOO.
I know you may think I am a Catholic but sorry I am not.
I am a Protestant.
Many people think that Catholics are ''Christian'', but they are sadly mistaken.
Catholicism is more of paganism, and also other heathen religions rather than Christianity.
If you are a Catholic you have to repeat the Rosary often, which is VAIN PRAYER!
In the Holy Bible, Jesus said vain worship and vain prayer are null and void. Thus, the Catholic repeititions of the Rosary are null and void!
Also, Roman Catholicism, although teaching that the Bible is the Word of God, adds the words of men to it by adding the spurious Aprocrapha to the Bible! Adding or subracting to the Word of God thus places Catholicism under God's curse.
According to the Catholic doctrine, popes are infallible, which is false if you study the case of Joan of Arc( one of the many cases available).
She was sponsored by one Pope to gather an army and conquer in the name of "The Church".
Another Pope condemned her and had her burned at the stake.
Yet another Pope had her canonized and raised to Sainthood in that same church.
Which of these three "infallible" Popes was really infallible - all, two, one, or none?

I decided NOT to be a Hindu as Hinduism teaches that people belong to different castes, and that those of higher castes are superior to those belonging to lower castes! In other words, some people are inferior to the rest!
This reminded me of a verse in the Bible which went on like this,''Ye are bought with a price; ye are not the servants of men.''
It also reminded me of a story.
A cancer patient was seeking treatment in a hospital in Paris, France. His condition was quite serious. Not wanting him to know what they were discussing, the two doctors talked in Latin. Then, one of the patients blurted out impatiently( in Latin of course),'' And what shall we do with this miserable creature?''
Then, the patient retorted to the doctors in brillant Latin, '' How dare you call me a miserable creature, who was made in God's image, and for whom Christ died for?''
Both doctors were rudely shocked and ashamed. They did not realise that their patient was a Latin scholar!
Sadly, many people nowdays are affected by racism, as a tresult of Darwin's poisonous teachings that white men are superior beings. All the people on this planet Earth are descendants from the first couple -
Adam and Eve. We are ALL just shades of that same colour !
Hold a sheet of Real White and Real Black paper up against your skin.
I can tell you "for certain" that your skin colour matches neither of these paper colour samples. We are all "off white - or - BROWN !
WE ARE ALL OF THE SAME COLOUR because we are all indeed descendants of that couple. Because of protective pigmentation we are of different shades indeed.
What a beautiful example of how OUR MAKER designed us and built a protective system into our skins to protect us from the suns rays ! Few people realize that The Bible does not say anything in opposition to what is referred to as "mixed marriages". This is precisely why.
If "mixed marriages" do not work in our society, as it is today, it is because of the arrogance of man. To "prove" superiority they often use gross misinterpretations of Bible passages or misapply a Bible passage to make it look like it proves them correct.As you can see, all those who look down on their fellow humans in any way ought to be equally ashamed because they are in fact insulting their Creator God, who created not only them but those who were looked down by them.

are of different shades indeed'', you may be thinking that both Creationism and evolution are true, but it is NOT so! Please be reminded that adaption DOES NOT equal evolution.
I decided not to be a Muslim as:
"Allah" is a very powerful entity and cohort of Lucifer the Satan, if not the adversary himself. This entity has very limited powers that were given by THE ALMIGHTY GOD (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) who CREATED this "Allah" in the first place - in the angelic realm. He fell from grace when "iniquity was found" in this entity, Lucifer, and his followers. This entity is A DECEIVER and will lead ALL who follow him in to hellfire that was "prepared for the devil and his angels" (Matthew 25:41).
INDEED, IF "ALLAH" GAVE ISLAM TO ADAM THE FIRST MAN, as Islam states, THEN "ALLAH" MUST HAVE BEEN THE DECEIVER SATAN (LUCIFER) THE SERPENT! (See Ezekiel 28: 13 and also Genesis 3: 1-22)
WHY I MUST NOT BE A MUSLIM AND WORSHIP ALLAH

They claim that Allah has no "partners"? That name `Muhammad, and blessed be his name' certainly gets a lot of "play".Muslims claim that the Koran is fully accurate scientifically. The findings in the caves of Qumram have shown many writing that were considered relatively new, were indeed, old "thinking".I am still looking for an Archeologist who uses the Koran in his research as they do THE BIBLE. That would be a proof of some accuracy, at least.Muslims claim that Islam is the worship of Allah alone and the avoidance of worship directed at any person, place, or thing. You had better tell that to those followers who must then have a vicarious interest in MECCA, MEDINA, and the AL AQSA MOSQUE -that was recently "discovered" by Arafat's uncle, or was it his grandfather!Muslims continue in the same error as the Hindus, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormons, and the other deluded groups that Jesus THE SAVIOUR, was only a prophet, and was only a man. Methinks they should read both the Ancient Jewish Pentateuch and the Christian New Testaments to find that indeed Jesus THE CHRIST Is and Was THE GOD (not Allah), in human form.
Muslims often quote from the Koran "And behold Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary did you say to men….."" This writing they present was written 700 years AFTER the TRUTH of the Bible. (Mary was mentioned, of course, because Muhammad was married to a Roman Catholic, therefore Infidel, woman.)

I'm a Third Testament Christian.

We believe that whole personal relationship with God thing should be taken quite literally.

therefore, I talk to God ALL THE TIME, as if He were there in the room.

And you know what? He answers me.

But it wasn't the Bible that led me to God. No, the Bible made me an Atheist hehe. What led me to God was evolution. Because there's no way everything could have evolved as it did without someone guiding it.

Finding God doesn't mean instant peace of mind and instant bette rlife. Its a gradual thing where you learn to accept the world as it is and understand that you are not alone and there is a plan for you. Even if you don't know the plan, sometimes it's enough just to know a plan exists.

Yes I do have a religion and it has trully made this following scripture come alive in my life(John8:32) I have learned a lot from the Bible because my religion is the one which teaches only from the Bible, but it has definatelly made a difference in my life, in that it has changed my whole outlook on life, made me a better person in many ways taught me that I can acomplish anything with God's help, I can live a very happy fulfilled life,I can have a better relationship with my family even those who do not share my faith with me and that goes even further than just my family, I have learned how I can love all people not restricted to only those of my religion butall those of all different faith or also those without faith also, it has also taught me that I can get along with all kind of people of other races and colours, so that means, that, we can have good relationships with all people without any boundries of races colours and beliefs if any, so yes I have got to know Our true heavenly Father,and his waysand try to follow his advice that is in his Word the Bible learnoing what he says to us there has helped to put my life in order and given me peace of mind in knowing that he aproves of things that I do, of course I also know of things that he does not aprove and try to resist these things which is not always as simple as it sounds, and I have also at times failed miserably but the main thing is to keep trying
