Yes I have. It's typically subtle, but at other times, it's crystal clear.

When I was a child I had to pretend to believe in god (catholic) or I would be punished and ostracized.

My public high school said prayers at graduation.

My high school football coach lead team prayers.

A landlord once threatened to kick us out because we were not married - which was indirectly the result of our being atheist.

Today my children attend public schools that say the Pledge of Allegiance (US) every day with the phrase "under god".

I used to have to vote at a catholic church, with the machine located directly below a huge bloody crucifix.

My last boss (a fundy) made false accusations against me which harmed my career. I believe he did this because I am atheist.

I could go on and on.

Not in the workplace or anything, no. But sometimes, when friends or aquaintances find out, they tend to look at me as if my face just went green. Lovely feeling. Then comes the preaching. Yay.

I think the funniest thing someone has said to me so far is, "Why? You don't understand the Bible or something?"

Yeah, I just decided to stop being a Christian after 20 years without reading and understanding the Bible. Right.

Just rejection by some people and/or looked at in a funny way once I've answered "what's your religion?". For the most part this never happens because I live in a blue state.

No. I did learn recently, however, that it has a tendency to become a factor in custody cases, interestingly enough.

i am one, don't talk about it regularly, keep it for yourself' peoples don't like this way of thinking, they prefer the "security" of god and angels, and other holly routine, look at the corruption of church, and Islam, it say everything.
