I just moved in to a new place and have very little furniture and even less cash. I live in the DFW area. (Texas)

You can go to Mission Arlington, in Arlington TX the number is 817-277-5122. Or you could try Salvation Army or a Goodwill Super Store which are in several locations. Sometimes you can find stuff in thrift stores but you might find better quality if you go to garage sales in a "good" neighborhood. :-)

Try any local Salvation Army or Good Will stores. If that don't work look in the phonebook under salvage and wholesale outlets in your area.

Hope this helps, when I moved to Alaska I bought a whole 3 rooms whoth of stuff for about 900.00 but I had money because of moving. Others I know have not and I sent them there and they found good bargins too.

Try consignment shops. You are in a good area for consignment. Many times when people in the military go overseas they sell their furniture on consignment. The furniture sold there tend to be in good shape (some of it nearly new) and is sold at a really decent price.

Ask your persons and kin in the event that they have something they don't look to be applying and might like t do away with. they often have saved issues see you later, yet while somebody comes around that needs it, they may well be satisfied to possibly supply it to you or sell it very fee effectively For a coffee table, you're able to desire to get 4 block for the legs and circulate to abode progression keep and that they'll shrink the wood the lenght you opt for it. backyard sales are a brilliant thank you to %. issues up low cost. you could beautify an entire abode from backyard sale products. With a splash cleansing and portray, it may seem as though new. stable luck on your unearths.

i have always found that goodwill or thrift shops are a great place to look around for furniture....as long as you are willing to recover fabric or refinish wood....sometimes neither is needed, you would be surprised at the good condition of furniture you will find there. i hope this helps..

join yahoo! groups freecycle, if someone has a piece of furniture they don't want/need anymore they put it on freecycle and if someone wants it they will tell the person that wanted to give it up. It isn't always furniture, there is a very wide range of items.

oh yeah, it is ALWAYS FREE!!
