I find it pretty funny when my beautiful girlfriend of 3 years accidentally lets one out once in a blue moon. In fact, in a way, its down right cute (almost sexy, but I won't go there). He knows that you do... just don't make it a ritual and you'll be fine!
We have this sort of unspoken rule... let it go silently if you can and, if it doesn't smell too bad, nothing is said. If its audible, we still try to pretend nothing happened but, if its either really loud or really odiferous, then of course we're going to have a chuckle!
Long story short, don't be afraid. He'll be glad that you're comfortable enough with your relationship that you're not afraid of a slipup now and then.

I was with a guy for a year and a half and we had a lot of fun just fooling around. He would try and make his farts really loud and obnoxious. I didn't do that, but when I needed to fart, I went ahead and did it (and told him too). He would mostly laugh and say they weren't manly like his but I don't think it bothered him all that much. How long have you been together? If it's been a while, you should probably be comfortable doing it in front of him. You can always test him out if you're chatting online, say something like "I just farted" and then see how he reacts to it. If you get a bad response online, then you know you've got to keep them silent. I think it's acceptable for people to fart in front of each other whenever, but some guys think that girls shouldn't be allowed to fart, burp, or poop, even when they're alone.
Although I have to add that if he's not comfortable with you farting in front of him, imagine if you got married or something. You can't leave the room EVERY time you get a little gassy!

LOL It depends on how long you have been dating this guy and your ages play a big part...well maybe not ages as much as maturity. A mature guy will realize that gir;s do fart and that is a fact of life. If your boyfriend farts in front of you then he should expect the same back. LOL I would just tell him that the last time he wanted to get together you really wanted to but felt like you couldn't because you were not really feeling well and were a bit gasy...test the waters and see what he says...if he says that wouldn't have bothered him then he is a keeper but if he doesn't say anything or says Thanks - you may have to rethink the realtionship because you surely can't hold it in all the time - eventually it will slip out - literally. Good luck girl!

Farting in front of your boyfriend, should be no different than doing it in front of anyone. It is rude and shouldn't be done if avoidable. Somewhere along the line, people began thinking it was cute and even funny to fart. Yes, it is a natural human release, but then so is a bowel movement. And you wouldn't do that in front of anyone. Would you? It is just polite and a show of self-respect to excuse yourself when expelling gas. It shouldn't make a difference if it is a boyfriend or not.

You know what I say better out than in you lady's want equal opportunity's then I don't see the harm. If men can fart why not women If you ask me Me being a male, and Even I find it Embarrassing passing wind in public. But I don't think it's that bad If you say your manners. I Remember an incident when I was at primary school when I passed wind in front of a teacher and like you do, you say excuse me but I got a slap right across the back of the leg.
hope this helps.

lol, that's funny (sorry). I grew up with 2 sisters, 1 of which told me that "ladies don't fart". lol, It wasn't until many years later that I learned, that while "ladies" don't, girls / women can & do. But seriously, there are over the counter meds (ie: gas ex, etc) that may help control the problem. What you eat & how much are factors worth thinking about. Short of gaining better control over the 'problem', you could always excuse yourself for a minute. Go outside or to the restroom. (fan on of course, lol) Good luck.
Oh, ps: you know, it probably wouldn't bother him as much as you think, especially since you are so concerned about trying to prevent it. It might be different if you went around belch'n n fart'n openly all day lol.

It's okay to fart in front of him. Although if your feeling particularly gassy and the gas is.... how should I put it..... rather unpleasant to the nose, then it might be best to keep away, but if you feel that gassy I doubt you'll be in the mood to see your boyfriend.
One very important rule, one you must remember and avoid breaking at all costs. Never, and a mean NEVER, let one rip when he's going down on you. lol ;)

Release the gas without making an issue out of it. With luck it will be silent and not have an offensive smell. If however, you make a slight noise, say pardon me or excuse me and carry on doing whatever you were doing without making a big deal of it. If you are out in public and think you are going to do a loud fart, pop to the ladies to save any embarrasment. If you constantly have excessive gas then you may need to make changes in your diet or seek help from your doctor. Approach the subject of farting with your partner and find out his thoughts.

Don't worry about it. Take a beano and go out. If it makes you feel better, check this horrible farting story out. First, I know that after my wife's hysterectomy, she lost some of the ability to control farting, bad for me. I was going down on her when I dropped lower to rim her. BAM! Huge fart right in my friggin mouth. Bout friggin died, she about friggen died. Haven't been back there again.

Well, the truth is guys know that we fart. They don't exactly find it a turn-on, but if you do fart in front of him on accident, just laugh about it and he probably will too. I have been with my husband for twelve years. I don't like to fart in fron tof him either. I prefer not to because I just don't think it's lady like. Plus it stinks! LOL! But after a while, accidents happen. One day, you will be able to laugh about it.
