I really advise you NOT to pay someone to take your cat, imagine how many ppl would take the money then ditch your cat?!!
If you really can't afford to take it w/ you, I know most places don't allow them or charge a hefty fee even though he may be priceless, take him to the Humane Society, there's ALWAYS one in the area no matter where you go so no excuse, its free or a very small fee, or post flyers w/ all info at a vet's office or even ask ppl at work or someone you KNOW would take good care of him. Truthfully most cats love the person taking care of them so it shouldn't be a hard transition, just make sure he's taken care of by a good person, not someone looking for money!

I suggest you keep trying to find a place that will accept cats. I get very upset when I hear these stories about people just giving their animals up or even paying someone to take them. I have two cats and I kept looking until I found my place who accepted my animals. They are my family. If or when you have children..will you give any of them away because a place wont accept children. I dont mean to smart about this..but I am a real animal advocate.

It's impossible not to find a place where you can take your cat. So many people have cats, how can you not find a place where it's allowed? In Greece, you are entitled to have a cat wherever you are - even if the owner doe snot allow it. The law is above the opinion of the owners.

You can try you local shelter, or put ads in the paper...Do not offer the money for the cat or your poor baby will be picked up, your money taken and your cat will be on the street. There is also a site called catster, and they have a ad section....Also put what state your in, if your close to the high desert in California, i can help you out and take your cat, you keep your money....

Cats usually prefer the house to trhe owner, he probably won't mind at all if you leave him behind, just check with the new owner if that is OK, if not, find him a home

poor kitty kitty.
there could be some ways for you to bring it.
hope you could find some ways before leaving it. why not temporarily give it to your friends, then you can have it back when you have found a place for it to stay. cats are nice pets.

Two choices...take him with you and don't tell anyone you have him as long as he stays inside. Two...find a no kill shelter and take him there to find a new home. Good luck!

you should really find a place that will let you keep a cat. Offer them an extra security deposit.
