1. The perm will work on your hair.

2. There are better styling products out there than just "gel".

3. There are many different types of perms for curls. Go and discuss it with your stylist.

Curly Perms For Black Hair

A Curly perm should take, however you will always have to keep it mosturized so it would be somewhat like having a jerry curl even if it was a lot of loose curls. The mosturizer and gel keep the curl in there and are necessary for some reason... why I dont know I forgot. However, I am half puerto rican and half black and I have done a curly perm and it took fine but I always had to keep it soaked with gel so that was kind of the down fall... it looks real cute from a far but whenever people would touch it they would say "eeww, whats in your hair" lol

Heavy washing hair erases excess slimmer and engine oil, as good as dangerous products within the hair together with scalp. Often frizzy hair is washed factored in a shower room or bathing with shampoo or conditioner, a unique surfactant. Shampoos work by applying water together with shampoo into the hair. The shampoo or conditioner breaks the outer tension within the water, allowing any hair that they are soaked. This is the wetting stage. The wetting stage is because of the head within the shampoo molecule attracting the pool to any hair shaft. Conversely, the tail within the shampoo molecule is drawn to the grease, dirt together with oil over the hair shaft. The bricks-and-mortar action for shampooing produces the grease and dirt and grime become some sort of emulsion that could be then rinsed away when using the water. This is the emulsifying stage. Sulfate zero cost shampoos happen to be less do harm to on colors treated frizzy hair than common shampoos that contain sulfates. Sulfates strip away natural oils and even hair coloring. Sulfates can be responsible to your foaming benefit of shampoos.

well as an African American i feel that you shouldn't get a perm because for us a perm straightens the hair ad our hair is to thick for a curly perm so what you do is wash your hair at night towel dry it then put some gel and moisturizer in your hair and put your hair in 7 french braids to the back and take it out in the morning it will be damp put some moose on it and blow it dry
