its PRIDE thats keeping them and this passage describes their situation quite well
1 Corinthians 1:18-25
18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate." 20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength.

The Christian perspective is understood and constantly considered as a possible correct path.
It is the approach that is used, when some Christian's attempt to steer another in a direction that they are not ready to take.
Perhaps using guidance and acceptance of the other person and having the patience to understand others, would be a more Christ-like way to convince us that your way is the only way.

enable's look at Apollos. He became an eloquent guy, powerful interior the Scriptures, steered interior the way of the Lord, and fervent interior the spirit. He taught diligently the flaws of the Lord and spoke boldly interior the synagogue, yet he knew in common words the baptism of John. at the same time as Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and expounded the way of God unto him extra completely. From this account, we see that someone may have a deep understanding of the Scriptures, a effective ministry, and a non secular fervency and nonetheless no longer be born back. in truth such anybody is pre-Pentecost believers, no longer area of the apostolic church. even with their valid non secular adventure with God, they opt to be brought about extra truth. possibly one thanks to describe their position is to assert they're interior the theory level and performance no longer yet had the recent beginning. Pioneer Pentecostal leaders which incorporates A. D. united statesa. and G. T. Haywood used this analogy. The note has been planted and theory has taken position as a effect (Luke 8:11; I Peter a million:23), even with the undeniable fact that the quite beginning has no longer yet befell. they're interior the formative tiers of being a Christian and opt to be brought concerning the fulness of truth that enables you to have a common, healthful beginning.

Actually you are not following Gods intended word.
"Spreading the Word of God" is not meant to be done in a harmful way. "Free will" is inherent to the Christian, Islamic, and Judaic belief process. Jesus spoke to the masses but never judged anyone as "going to hell".
What you have fallen into is a "do as other say" rather than a "read it first and verify" mentality.
To assume that someone is a "sinner" is not what the message of Jesus is. That is something Paul added after the crucifixion. To MAKE someone believe in what you believe is actually the greater sin for you have just forced your beliefs upon someone else.
Jesus never ONCE did that in any of ministries, parables, or gatherings. Jesus and his apostles (Paul was not an apostle) went from town to town without forcing a single person to listen or to convert. That was the beauty of his message and his belief, especially in a time of Roman suppression and the split between the Pharisees and the Sadducees.
Listen to his message clearly; "Love thy neighbor"
It is not "convert them to my beliefs"...... look for those two passages in the Bible..... see which one you find.

I'm not sure which sinners are claiming that you are judging them, but I can tell you why you should keep your moral advise to yourself. In just the few short sentences of your question you make several bold claims, such as: Pretending to know which sins God deems worthy of eternal punishment: Pretending to act under Gods orders: Pretending to know who to accuse of being a sinner. I'm sure there's more if I thought about it, but what I'm saying is that you don't even know who I am and you've already managed to tell me at least 3 lies. Every time you take it upon yourself to speak for God, you are simply lying. You don't know anymore about what God expects from us then any other person on the planet. I don't need moral advise from a liar.

Thanks I'll keep that in mind. I appreciate that your comment comes from a belief that what you are doing is right. Can you consider the possibility that God in God's infinite wisdom has different plans for different people and perhaps the way you might go about spreading the word of the lord is by example and not finger pointing and condemnation?

Does he not also say Judge not lest ye be judged? or He without sin cast the first stone? You see, this is my problem with the bible, how do you know which part to follow? Do you just get to pick and choose? If so, that's not a very "set in stone" kind of religion is it? What if you are picking the wrong parts to follow?

Because I don't know if your version of things is correct. The Buddhists and Hindus say we are reincarnated. Many religions that don't believe in reincarnation don't look at the concept of sin the same way Christians do. Since I can't really know who is right and who is wrong, there's no major need for me to choose one over another, and so I choose none.

You are not God or Jesus. And you are certainly are not with out sin yourself, so why is it again that you think you should be judging others. Do you really think people are so stupid they don't know what they are doing. People know they are sinning, they make there own choices. Maybe you should mind your own business take care of your self and your own sins and let the rest of us do the same.

You may find it interesting to read Pascal's Wager which moves along this same line. It is in Pensees and represents a great moment in philosophy.
