There are LOTS of things you can send....you can go to www.americasupportsyou.mil and there should be a list there...or you can check the soldiers angel's website, they have a good list too...some ideas though, Jerkey, cereal bars, chex mix, cookies, crackers, powdered drink mix (gatorade, lemonade etc), gum, microwavable mac and cheese, medicines (tylenol, motrin, immodium, tums), eye drops, baby wipes, antibacterial wipes, blankets, chapstick, deodorant, q-tips, nail clippers, toothpaste, toothbrushes, socks (black or white) batteries, disposable cameras, mailing envelopes, zip lock bags...etc....hope that helps...remember not to pack soaps and smelly items in with food items as the food might taste like the soap!

There are a number of things...These are just a few things that a soldier like myself could use.

Pain medicine
Jerky
Hard Candy
Gum
Chocolate in the winter months, but not in the summer months
Baby Wipes
Foot Powder
Deoderant
Flouride Mouthwash
Cookies
Shampoos
Conditioners
Lotions
Bodywashes

These are just a few things I can think of off the top of my head that we could use out here. There are other things, but these items can not be shipped.

Flammable liquids
Lighters
Meat (Steaks, ground beef, etc...)
Weapons (Knives, swords, etc...)

Anything and EVERYTHING.

Baby wipes, fresh socks, and anything that helps desert living are most appreciated. Baby wipes are almost as good as a shower after a day in the sand. Anything to do with personal grooming helps. Shaving razors, headblades (yes, for shaving heads), t-shirts (any size, any color, but preferably no designs), etc.

Any sort of American treats like beef jerky, candy, and so on are also appreciated as they can be passed out on patrols to Iraqi kids. Tabasco or other spices are also in huge demand. :)

Search for a program called "Adopt a Sniper". I know the name doesn't sound good, but they give good list of what soldiers in the field needs.

the troops like old newspapers from they're home town or something close to it. they also like food but stuff that will handle the heat. they're happy with anything you'll send its the thought that counts they're just happy that people care. because they get down because the negitive atmosphere americans send they're way with the war. SHOW THEM YOU CARE.
