I started eating vitamin B daily about two months ago. My weight went from 48 to 51kg. My eating habits are normal, no major changes. Could the vitamin B be the reasons?

thats a small change...the body fluctuates weight a few lbs or so normally..vitamin b to my knowledge is basically an energy source...here's what i tell people about weight loss:

24 ounces of grapefruit juice a day (three 8oz glasses).

This will help you loose 4 lbs every 12 weeks...

I have lost weight using this method.

If you are looking for a fast solution this is not it...but it is easy, effective and beneficial in more ways than one. Besides getting lots of vitamin c, you will loose weight gradually, which means you won't have permanent flab to endure or have removed surgically.
This information I have obtained through an article in Men’s Health Magazine.

I wrote this next article to a gal on yahoo answers forum in an email:

Basically I just took the article I read in line at the market in Men's Health Magazine for what it was worth...face value..three 8 ounce glasses each day...no matter what kind or when....I can relate some stuff to avoid through experience...the stuff you might find in the can that you have to add water to thats frozen (called pink grapefruit juice)...avoid it...it's very bitter and not paletable at all...the best kind is the stuff in the half gallon carton in the refrigerated section of the supermarket...get Sunnyside Farms if you can...it's ruby red grapefruit juice from concentrate...but it's not too expensive...only about $2.50 a half gallon...some stores like Safeway only sell the squeezed stuff (ruby red as well) and it can get pricey...like $4.50+ a half gallon *shudders*....thats cool in a pinch...but I wouldn't stock up on it...grapefruit juice basically carmatizes your digestive system (makes things right) and supresses appetite in a manner that is beneficial/acceptable to the human condition in my experience/opinion...but that doesn't mean one needs to throw common sense out the window and continue to eat things like burgers etc. in excessive amounts...try to eat lighter...with grapefruit juice you will find this can be accomplished in a comfortable manner...I would suggest to drink as much of the stuff as you can (over 24 ounces per day if you feel comfortable with it)...this is one case where it seems more is better....good luck..

Hi,

I specialize in helping people lose weight easily and quickly and I have never heard of people gaining weight on vitamin B. Is there anything else that you did different in the past two months?

Would you consider switching over to doing a detox?

If you do a detox, you will be able to:
- gain better health and
- better vitality and
- even more radiant skin and
- the loss of some excess pounds as well,

All you need to do is three things.

Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.

Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods consumable even my babies and pregnant women that will enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.

Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out.

And that's it.

The rest is up to you.

So what do you think? ;)

If you are keen, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com

No, extra vitamin B is excreted from the body. However, watch out for vitamins A, D, E, and K, which are not excreted, but remain built up in the body. Calcium is also stored. These vitamins and mineral are not fat, though, and are an entirely safe and healthy way to gain weight. don't worry too much about it, as long as you're still in your healthy weight range and feeling physically fit and great

No! Any excess vitamin b is excreted through urine. it will not cause weight gain. why are you taking it? and which vitamin b are you taking? do you take a b complex in order to absorb the nutrients properly?

B vitamins are essential for nerve and cell function. I doubt it's the B, but there could be something else going on.
