well, sometimes when i am alone, i sometimes cry for no reason at all. i keep saying that there is notin to live for. i keep screaming in my head. and i sometimes cry myself to sleep. is this depression? cuz i dont get it. somedays, im really hyper i guess and happy, and then later on that day, i just cry for no reason at all. what is this? is there anything i can do to get rid of it? if so, what??

This could be depression. Some people who are depressed are able to hide it when in the presence of others, kind of like splitting. That could be why you act differently when you are with others. Another possibility is you have a fear of abandonment and that is why you only feel this way when you are alone. Abandonment issues can lead to other things, watch out. And yet a third possiblity is bipolar disorder. This depends on how high your highs are and how low your low and how quickly you can change between the two. If you feel on top of the world and nothing can stop you when you feel hyper, or can go days without sleep I would definatly suspect bipolar disorder. My fourth and final posibility would be borderline personality disorder. These types of people can have fairly sever mood swings that only last for a few hours at a time. However your never going to find out unless you go see a doctor.

Loneliness can be very very depressing, it happens with me as well, which is why I stick to my computer all the time, surf the internet, play games,and if I feel tired I just go and watch TV for a change, or even go out shopping. Perhaps you can cook an excellent meal for yourself and enjoy it. And if neither of them works then take a sleeping pill and go to sleep.

you should get some help for Depression, That is what depression is all about high and lows. The feeling of being empty or helplessness. Good luck I know you will be fine once you get some help. Just remember if you get prescribed medication to stay on it.

I is not depression Its that u r not satisfied of yourself OR you expect more form your friends,family which you dint get and you also dint want to say it anyone.
Its not that they dint care abet you Its because their way of caring is unlike your thinking.
Just try not to have so many exceptations because if a person dont love/care for u the way u want it does not mean that he/she dont love you
may b u think that you r isolated .just try onre think try to stay at home for 2-3 days and then back to work,then you will come to know how people Miss u.
But this happness will b of 1-2 days , u have to change your atitude towords life,try not to take each & every relatoin so personaly and think less ,i think your palm is full of dense palm lines if it is so then u think tooo much

I think u feel alone u need some friend in which u can share ur feeling and share good and bad moment , make good friend and enjoy with them i think this is the only solution .....

I think you should keep your mind in peace. Meditate atleast fpr 3 hours a day. Pray to which ever god you believe. Or go for counciling.

This could be depressive but becuase you have highs and lows it is more manic depressive. See your doc and get checked out so they can figure out if medication might help you.

hi even i had the same problem. i think u better check ur thyroid level it may harmonal imbalance.do meditate or do some yoga it works.take care
