We have a kitten like yours... if it were me, I might consider bringing her if:
There were no other cats in the inviter's household
The kitten was comfortable in a vehicle
It was a considerably short drive (around an hour)
If I had previously brought the kitten somewhere and she adjusted well
It really depends on how comfortable you are with the people you will be visiting. If you are even somewhat uncomfortable going, leave the kitten at home... she will pick up on the bad vibes, and it will turn out badly. Use your discretion, and do what you think is right. Good luck, Happy Holidays, and let us know how it turns out!

That's a nice offer, but generally cats like to stick in familiar environments. Also, most cats don't like car rides. Your cat would probably be more stressed by taking it to someone else's house. If you're afraid to leave her alone, don't be- if it's only for a couple days, just leave extra food and water out for her. If more than a couple days, have someone check on her once or twice a day.

You should take kitty for the fun at gift time but take the carrier so she can have some quiet time in case she gets too rowdy. Best of luck to you. Out dog and cat do holidays and so far there has not been a problem. Merry Christmas!!

No, I personally would not.
The chaos of a party, gifts, the meal, folks coming and going could lead to her being stepped on, or an escape into the not-so-great outdoors (in an unfamiliar neighborhood). Having to watch over her may take the fun out of the day for you.
Cats are also creatures of habit and very territorial. She's comfortable in her home, out-going and happy, but if you take her to a different territory, she may be stressed out and unhappy.
I hope this helps,
Cheers.

I think it sounds like you have very thoughtful friends who don't know anything about cats. Do your friend a favor and leave the cat at home. Do yourself a favor too. You'll spend a lot of time minding the cat and a little time with your friend.

No, I would leave Kitty at home. Cats are the happiest when they are in a familiar environment. Most dogs enjoy going places and meeting new people, but cats are real homebodies. When we took our cat to my mother-in-law's house, at her request, she was so excited/overwrought that she peed on the new carpet in the dining room. To save yourself and everyone else the trouble, just leave your angel-kitty at home.

it would depend on how long I was staying. If I was just going for Christmas day, I'd say no leave the cat at home. If you're staying a few days, it would be OK, I think. I would do what's best for the kitten.

No you leave kitty at home, she doesn't need the stress of all the goings on especially in an unfamiliar environment.

Even the most charming kitty can be very unhappy in new surroundings and new people. I wouldn't bring my cat if it were me, simply because I wouldn't want to traumatize my cat.
