yes you can have milk or drink a smoothie, and water before during and after. you don't burn up the food you just ate while working out the body has to turn that into fat before it can burn it

I think first that you should really ask yourself, am I really ready to lose the weight? If yes, then you should start by keeping a food diary. Write everything down, no matter how big or small. Then you should get a tape measure and take your measurements and don't look at them for a while. Start moving..Anythiyng that you enjoy doing. Do not mess with your diet right now.Because as soon as you start moving and getting into exercising you will want to start changing your food intake. I did. I started going to dance class and taking this incredible class called Zumba. It has latin dance, hip hop, salsa jazz and so many more dances. You burntons of cals and sweat buckets!!! Oh yeah!!!!! And since you are getting older you should start lifing some weights also. just piick one that you can lift 12 times and the last one is hard to llift. Got it? You can do it. Good luck!!!

Big glass of apple juice before, and lots of water afterwards. You need to eat a good breakfast like bacon and eggs. Eat when you are hungry in the morning. Why not?

Water, before and after exercise. Yes, you can have some milk before. A light meal is okay, too. A bit of whole grain cereal. Maybe a piece of fruit.

Eat a small portion prior to exercising. Milk is fine. A piece of toast. That way your blood sugar won't take a dive. Good luck.

You can have really anything to eat/drink as long as you don't feel sick during the workout. Wait at least half and hour. During I drink water, and for afterwards, I like Propel because it gives me vitamins and boosts my energy
