1. Don't yell anymore. Take deep breaths. You'll have plenty of run-ins with authority in your life, and yelling doesn't help. (Later on, we use lawyers to argue our positions.)

2. USE THE COUNSELOR! Thank god they still have these people.I thought they went the way of school nurses into the dust-bin.

3. It's only gonna be a year; you probably will not be able to get a good shake out of that math teacher, anyway. Possibly it's just a personality clash. And I'll bet that teacher has tenure.

4. Take the advice of your language arts teacher. Calmly explain the situation to your counselor. Keep an open line with your parents.

5. Study hard ,and you'll live through it, cuz college is a blast compared to the lower grades. Good luck and keep connected to your parents, counselors, and teachers who are willing to work with you. Hopefully this will just be a transitory bump on the road.

The best advice I can give you: Do EVERYTHING in your power to stop it. Beg him? Yes. Beg the principal? Yes. Beg the counselor? Yes. Also, tell your dad as soon as possible about what happened. The Language Art teacher's message will help you. Don't be afraid to bring it up. Talk to everyone if you have to. Don't try and make yourself sound like the victim when talking to them about it. If possible in any way talk to the teacher before Monday. Apologize to him, explain yourself, tell him your temper got the best of you, tell him you like his class better than your old math class (you'd have to if this is what you're wanting.) Apologize for comparing your grade with someone else's. Tell him it won't happen again. I'd say if you exhaust all of your resources, and be relentless you should be able to save this situation. Even if you can't reason with them they might see how much effort you're putting in trying to stay in his class.

I can't guarentee this will work, but doesn't this sound like the best answer? If it doesn't work, I hope you can find some happieness in your 'mean' math class. It's only for a year anyway, you'll live.

Speak to the teacher and find out exactly why he is transferring you. Then appologize for what ever. Ask if you can have a second chance. Tell him how you really enjoy your classes, teachers, students . Tell him that your language teacher called and said that you are a fabulous student and you think the other teachers feel the same. If he won't give you a second chance, talk to the guidance officer in your school and tell him/her the situation. Oh, if the teacher says it is because of your grades or homework, tell him you will work extra hard to make them up. Good Luck.

You need a serious attitude check. If you do not respect your teacher, you will never learn anything from them. Whether you transfer or remain in this class, you should always demonstrate respect toward your teachers.
Sassing a teacher will not get you anywhere, a lot of them may let you get away with it because they don't want the headache of dealing with.
In the classroom, focus on being the best you can be, but always remember the teacher is there because he/she is an expert in their field, so even if you do not like them, respect what they are, what they've gone through to be where they are.
Apologize to your teacher and give yourself a chance to do better.

I really feel your situation! because i go through the same situation, in fact i remember that a doctor made an exam, full of mistakes, so what he did, is just putting random notes for students, and what helped him is that our administration don't respect us the students, so he just run away without punishment. (hopefully, i got the second grade in the class,if i got the worst note, i could not do anything ) but anyway i complaint about this to the doctor, also to the direction, but all i get is some advices... so i chalenge them to make another correction but they don't accept, "cause the doctor don't make mistakes!"
After this event, i knew what i have to do, just study, it is all we can do, and try to be close to teacher, so i can talk to him later when i need him. ( it is good to be friend to the teacher)
But for your case, it is completly different!!! In my case, there were no "democracy", i can't explain my point of view because they just don't allow me, i think it is different for u (u re in USA, i am not), so u can start to search for a fight ! yes, u can start to study your case well, see what u can do, search for who u can talk, and who is higher than this mad teacher, BUT u have to be SURE you are right, isn't there any other quiz in class or something that participate to this note, and are u sure that this doctor didn't revise the paper of answers of your friend another time, and increased his notes because of something? If u're completly sure of yourself, then don't hesitate go and fight for your rights! but calm down, u don't have to yell, just explain your point of view with proofs(the art teacher could help a lot!), and it should work in civilised world, even it don't work, it will help you a lot in the future, and teachers make mistakes, so don't be afraid, but u have to respect them also, so don't yell!

Sorry for bad english, i am french!

You should start by apologizing to your teacher, then explain to him the situation. You can't compare your grade to anyone else when you talk to ur teachers. That' s usually a bad taboo. You can also talk to your counselor and explain the situation.

Change your attitude. Apologize to the teacher and take whatever is given you. Teachers do not have to put up with abuse from students.

Yes, do apologize to your teacher, eat dust if necessary, I mean beg if necessary, it'll be worth it, and try to be very good in the future.
