I haven't had sex yet, and I'm well over 16 (but under 25). I'm waiting until marriage. Anyway, I think I've found someone special, and I've been with him for over two years. But I've heard that men will do ANYTHING to get what they want. How do I know he hasn't been putting up an act?
PS: I don't mean to insult any of the men out there. Sorry.

Good for you! sex is WAY over rated.If your man knows that you are saving yourself for your wedding night let him know that you mean it. and yes most of them not all of them say or do what they think you want so they can get what they want.don't give in remember an engagement ring its not the same as being married Just be strait up with him and let him know you want the same from him, your relationship should be based on love and how well you two get along not sex. If you have been together for over two yrs. it sounds like he is in it for the long haul. as far as knowing if he is putting on a show most men leave after 3 weeks sometimes sooner if they can't make you feel guilty so you'll give in. While there are a lot of *people* out there that will say anything to get what they want - I would think it's highly unlikely that a person would wait for two years if all they wanted was sex.... and no, not all men are the same when it comes to sex and relationships.

Two years huh? Wow, he is some special guy. Not all guys are the same. they treat a girl the way she treats herself. You seem to respect yourself and firm with your beliefs and if he sees that it's your passion to stay that way he will wait. Believe me if he was putting up a front, he'd be doing your best friend or doing someone else. Right now it seems you have nothing to worry about but for that day when you decide to do it. And if he is a virgin like you, well good for y'all. And if he is not still the fact that he is waiting for you, it is great. for most of us young ones we've lost that part of morality. So do your thing girl!!!

Well, there are some men out there , that all that they really want is sex. But it seems to me, that you found a really good guy. He sounds like a keeper!!!!
But if he knows that you are wanting to wait till marriage to have sex, and he understands that and everything, then I just would not worry about other guys and stuff.

Do just what you said, wait until marriage. If he is willing to wait for you and knows he wants to be with your for the rest of your lives even though sex has not come into the picture yet, then you kow he respects you and loves you for you, and does not place major importance on sex.

NO ONE will wait over 2 years to get laid. If he hasn't been hounding you for sex, you should move on or expect a very frustrating relationship. Trust me, once you start having sex, you will want it way more then him, no matter how horny he is. (unless he is just terrible and selfish)

I know it sounds cheesy, but I think you'll know when the right guy comes along. Sure we all know that most men can be pigs, especially when it comes to love, lust and sex, but if you find that right guy then you'll know. Does he respect what you want, or only think about what he...and his little friend down there wants?
