I never could study with a lover. Sex got in the way every time!

They can help and hurt. Don't let them control you, if you find you are slipping in work- you have to break up with them. If they take studies unaccounted for then they are not right for you. On the other hand they caould help you and give you boosts of confidence make you happier and more motivated. My advice would be to keep track- look at your grade before your gf or bf and then look at it during, if your not cutting it, they can't cut it to be with you. ~Hope this helps~

What's wrong? It's o.k. to have a friend, but your future, when you get out of school is more important. Dating, sex, during school years is too important in young people's lifes. What's important during that time is to get a great education- for your sake- that after you graduate- you can get a great job, have skills ready for the workforce. These days it takes great skills to even begin to compete in the job world. The more/better prepared you make yourself- the better the product to sell to companies for your job. No joke- it's tough! So you get TOUGH too! Then go have all the RESPONSIBLE SEX you want!

It all depends on who you are. Everyone is different. Some people get great motivation from their significatn others, some people are easily distracted and do worse in their studies. It is all a matter of self-discipline.

YES if you are not focused that's all you think about is your boyfriend your girlfriend when can i see him what is he/she doing do i love him do he love me what am i wearing tommorow to look good that is all on there mind and they cant focus because of it been there done that

depends on whether you're highly disciplined or not. for most teens, they'll spend most of their time thinking of their bf/gf. they just can't stop thinking of them... or they may spend a lot of time dating. and happen if they quarrel or break up, it's hard for them to concentrate in their studies

my boyfriend sometimes distracts me from my homework because im too into talking to him, but at other times he is my motivation to work harder.
