firm. If there is a Daniel's furniture store near you look at their selection we paid 1200 for a king size delivered and set up and got 12 months no interest. Most of the higher end stores will have that type of promotion almost year round. When it comes to your baack and sleep do not settle for a discount store mattress and box springs. this is one of those pay now are pay more later type things IMO.

I would go try out the mattress by sitting on it and bouncing on it a little before buying. Be careful of those extra firm mattresses with a wooden board in the middle. Supposed to help a bad back. I got the worst back pain after buying one. Never used it and finally had to pay to have it taken away.

The best mattress for a bad back is the one that feels good to YOUR back. Go to a furniture store and try a bunch of them out till you find one that feels good to you. Once you have found the one that feels good then check around either by calling stores or going to stores and by checking the internet to find out where you can get your best deal. Be sure to get a new boxspring at the same time.
