My friends brother is 18 and he really likes me. He has a great personality and is pretty hot as well. My friend keeps asking me if i want to go out with him. She is totally fine with it and she is the one handing me the letters he is writting to me. I show her the txts and she is fine with us being close. I have stayed at her house and her brother looks at me & is always txtn me even tho i am like 5 metres away. I want to know if i should go out with him. He is nice and he has dropped me off at skool and hasn't tried anything with me yet. But i am not so sure if i should go out with him??Cos i sorta like some1 else but i don't want to hurt him cos he is a really really nice guy and i don't ever want to loose his friendship over this. Wat should i do????

First of all really think about whom makes you more happy and whom you like more. Are you more attracted to your friends brother or the other guy? Think about which one you think will treat you better, if you dont choose your friends brother sit down and talk to him and tell him you think it would be better if you just remained as friends. Tell him you like him and all but you dont want things to change. But on the other hand if you really like him and he makes you happy and feel good inside then dont let him get away girl. Well It is good that he hasn't tried anything.....yet becase you never know. My opinion personally is most of the reasons why older guys go for younger girls is because...well Im pretty sure you know what I mean. But if you dont like him like that then the only way to not hurt his feelings is by telling him and actually talk to him in person.

This is really hard to deal with. I've never been in a situation like this 'cuz I'm ugly, but if I were, I would definitely find out if the other guy liked me too. If this other guy doesn't like you, you may as well go out with your friend's brother to avoid hurting his feelings. If the other guy does like you, I'm sorry, but I'm really not the person to ask!!

i think you should go for it because this world has few nice guys and he is one of them so go out with him and if it isn't working out then you can leave him its up to you so yeah okay does that person u like has the same personality as your friend's brother? is the person u like worth being with? compare i guess but mostly listen to your heart do what your heart tells you to good luck i wish you and whoever you got with a good life take care

Age differnece doesnt matter but no one can make this decision apart from yourself. I mea sure people can give you advice but its just advice comming from a complete stranger. You really need to make the decision on your own so that you dont regret listening to someones advice and making the wrong decision later.

if you're under 18, don't even start, it's a bad idea. he could get in major legal trouble if you two get serious. hang with your friend, enjoy having the bro around, dang your other someone you like (and anyone else you want, dating one guy doesn't mean you can't date others, too, that's just stupid). if you're both still single and interested when you're older, go for it.
