I love the pastel green and white.
Here's what a friend of mine did that i though looked beautiful.
She had her main color.
But then she made each table a different color.
You could make your Bride's table a white and green with a touch of gold.
Than then the rest of the tables white, green and a touch of pink
The next one with a touch of blue
purple
peach
yellow
etc.

green and white work well on their own - or you could add in pink. lavendar, baby blue, yellow or just about any other color. The great thing with white and green is that they both match everything, lol. Other common colors used with green which can all work for spring in the right hues: orange, peach, chocolate brown, silver
Since it is an outdoor wedding, you will already have a lot of green in the scenery. I would suggest picking one or more complimentary colors to add to the mix to make your wedding stand out from the scenery a bit.
The problem with green is that everyone is so used to it being the accent color that as soon as you add another color, the green takes second string. If you want to avoid that, use a cream or chocolate brown color to add interest without distracting from the green - or use metallic accents like gold or silver instead of color accents.
Another option is to use different hues of green and whites throughout the wedding (dresses, table clothes, napkins, etc) but then add interest by using a combination of pastel colors in the flowers for the wedding party and for the centerpieces. This leaves green as your main color everywhere but still lets your wedding stand out a little.
And lastly, a final option would be to have a theme other then color. For example - have a calla lily theme. Since calla lilys are white and green, you could do the entire wedding in white and green and it would be extremely elegant and the theme would tie it all together and make it very unique!

Pastel green and white sound really lovely together, but you might want to choose something else to bring up the contrast a bit more like a ocean or turquoise blue.
Or if you're feeling daring you can do all light greens, and whites for your decorations and then have burgundy colored flowers, roses, orchids, lilies, or even gerber daises, those would be really pretty and organic.
Either that if you want to go for the greens and blues you can go for bunches of hydrandras, they're both green and blue. Plus they live for a long time and they naturally spring up around april and may and since you have a may wedding it would be a perfect flower.
When you do that you can also have some pretty white candles to go with it, either nice long tapers or small tea candles.
Make sure that your greens are very light almost faded in color because otherwise it might be christmasy if you're going the burgandy route.
Condradulations!

An outdoor wedding in May!! How fantastic!! Pastel green and white are great colors, but also pick something bold, like mango or fuchsia, to add a real punch of color. Put the bridesmaids in fuchsia dresses with a pale green or white sash. You can also use mini lights (like Xmas tree lights) and large colored (or white) paper lanterns to add a little extra personality to your outdoor space.

Pastel green and white will look beautiful together. Just make sure the white doesn't get "lost" with the outdoor scenery. Having another accent may help make the white "pop" but otherwise I say go for it!

The colors are lovely. As a floral designer, I'd use a variety of pastel colored flowers for bouquets. After all, May is prime flower time and many different types, textures, and colors will be available. A simple dress accented by somewhat fussy flowers will be beautiful.

I work in a hotel where we have weddings & receptions, and I must say NO PINK and NO PURPLE. People have used those colors too much. Its a shame! I would stick with pastel green for the spring. My opinon would be to change the white for cream or maybe gold. Be different. Or put your (yours & his) favorite colors together and maybe change the shades if you want.
Congrats to ya!!!!

Have the bridsmade dresses be pastel green with an accentuating white on them. Have the brides dress be white with maybe a green empire waist or something that matches and compliments the bridesmade dresses. Make sure that if you do that you get them from the same place and pick the exact same shade in the exact same brand and year/model. Congrats!
