Not sure what your excersize methods are, but for your stomach, go get one of those "core secrets" balls (they're only like $20 or so).

Basically, do crunches on that, and it will do some major work on your upper abs. Put it somewhere that you can lock your feet, and do full situps on it to work on your lower abs.

I may sound like an infomercial LOL but for real that thing works wonders.

As far as losing weight, if you eat less calories than you burn, you will do so. Some good foods to go through that have low calories but the right nutrients and whatnot are egg white, wheat bread, fish, soup, skinless chicken, and various fruits and vegtables.

The key is not to starve yourself, because the will slow down your metabolism. In addition to lifting weights, all the above is basically how I went from 250 to currently about 185 and toned. Hope some of this helps you reach your goal!

DO not ever try any pills. Don't mess with your health. Diet pills can affect your heart and do some serious damage.
The moviestar diet is a scam. All these diets that sound too good to be true...ARE to good to be true. There is no good diet if it says it is fast. You gain it all back and double. Be wise please.

You can try www.sparkpeople.com
It is a healthy way to lose weight.
You type in how much you want to lose and by when etc...and they plan out your meals so you can achieve your goal. They have a calorie counter and everything. Plus they give you a fitness plan according to what type of exercising you like to do. The exercises can be done at home like dumbells, resistance bands & ball. You can also choose from walking, jogging,or a home video. There's many different options. It's like having a nutritionist and it is free. You also have support from the members. A real neat site. I'm quite impressed.
Enjoy!

God Bless!

Cardio is the only exercise that burns fat. You can do a million sit-ups to get rock hard abs, but you'll never be able to see them because the fat is covering them. Try doing cardio that uses all of the muscles in your body to burn the most fat. If you can't, keep your stomache tightened while you are working out, as it is burning the same amount of calories as you would if you were doing crunches.

Graze on healthful snacks. Just when you consider that you are getting healthful doesn't suggest you are not able to snack. In truth, consuming small foods and snacks for the duration of the day, or grazing, has been proven to help weight reduction, (in comparison to consuming 3 big foods an afternoon), by means of retaining metabolism steadier. Pick snacks which are low in energy and fats and top in fiber (dried apricots, nuts, rice muffins, culmination, little one carrots, cherry tomatoes, and many others). Vegetables are most often very low in energy, very top in fiber, and filled with taste and vitamins. Avoid starchy veggies like potatoes, and check out to consume veggies undeniable, with out fatty dressings or dips. Fruit additionally makes a well snack. Fruit involves extra soluble fiber than veggies, which slows your frame's absorption of carbohydrates, for this reason freeing vigor extra slowly, (stopping sugar highs), and retaining you feeling complete longer. Fruit juices aren't a substitute for the truly factor. You want that fiber, and juices most often have extra energy than the identical serving of fruit -- as many energy as soda! Be cautious with dried culmination, when you consider that with out the water, you have a tendency to consume extra, and culmination, while dried, are calorie-wealthy according to ounce. With any dry or dried meals, be certain to drink lots of water.
