whats the best way to get a mirrorball to shine or sparkle?

I want to give my bro and his wife a good Christmas present with a mirrorball in the basement of their new home. what would be an easy way to get the mirrorball reflecting a light somewhere throughout the room, but not really a bright light that wouldnt be hard to set up in about an hour or so? Thanks for your input! \

I think what would reflect nice and soft light would be light from a bunch of candles. Buy the scented kinds with fragrances that are warm and spicy.... it will also remove the basement smell, warm up the cold basement, and look festive. Hope this helps!
