A real Christian is a follower of Christ. Christ to tell us to love even our enemies. And bless even those who persecute us. So if Christ tell us to love each other and even our enemies, by not showing it in practice proves that we are not Christians at all.
My Christians only teach about love and about loving each other, but their actions which are contrarty to what they teach speak louder than their words.

I am happy when you are, and sad when you are.
I try to consider you family, as a cousin.
So, yes - I love you as a member of my family.
(You still can't borrow any money or my truck, but we're cool. You can drink my beer though.)
