It depends on you guys. If you are really into church or really believe in it then a church wedding is the best. Like I said it's up to you, who cares what everyone else thinks. If you want to get a civil wedding done and the church part is still important, then you guys can always just have your rings blessed by the priest.

It depends on what kind of wedding you want and how creative you want to get with it. If you want to have photography, you need to consider if your church will allow indoor photograhy. If you want to skip walking down the aisle altogether and have a less conventional wedding, a civil ceremony is the way to go. But, honestly, as long as you love your fiancee, it doesn't matter which way you do it. The marriage lasts long after the wedding day does.

Depends on your goals and situation. I've been to both and they've both been beautiful and meaningful. If you are religious and it is important that your wedding is sanctified, get married in a church or have your marriage blessed after a civil marriage.

It doesn't really matter. You can still have a religious ceremony outside the church if you want. It's your wedding and you should do whatever makes you (and your fiance) happy. Also, remember what the pics will look like when you show them to your grandkids.

Either one legally and lawfully marries you. A church wedding is for someone who wants their union blessed by God. A civil ceremony is for someone who just wants a short and quick ceremony. Either way, you do have to acquire a marriage license from your local County Clerk.

I say church weddings. they seem so beautiful. each and every time considered one of my kinfolk have a marriage they do the same ones :) yet that's purely my opinion because of the fact regrettably i don't understand what a civil wedding ceremony is lol.

I say civil, bc I think open air weddings are the most beautiful, and also bc for me, the wedding is about me and my husband--God has nothing to do with it. (We felt this way even before we realized we were agnostic.)

church wedding definitely.

but financially speaking, if you don't have enough money even for a simple one, i would advise a civil wedding. then save your money, enough for a church wedding.

Church wedding--Marriage is a union of Man, God and Woman--in Unity. Without God, there is no union, so I think it helps to go where God is, to have Him in the ceremony. With all due respect, it wouldn't be the same without your Best "Man"...
