i think the colors should be black, white, and red. for the flowers, try peonies instead of roses for a different twist. for the bridesmaid dresses, red or burgandy floor length gowns, and the groomsmen should wear all black tuxes, with the red boutineirre( forgot how to spell that:)). candles, rose petals, soft music, pearls and diamonds....sexy. if you want a different look with a more 'spring' color, try pink, white, and gold. i saw a wedding done with these colors and it was gorgeous. the bridesmaids can wear pale pink tea length dresses. same as the red and black, use candles, and lots of gold accessories. what a nice theme by the way.

Romance--I think of Italy or France. Small, intimate church; a special wine; a table just for the bride and groom. Or just think of an old movie. Pull from the clothing, the attitude and scenes.
Visualize a romantic spot and note the surroundings. Roses are always romantic, chocolate is a must, chocolate covered strawberries would be divine. Use candles to set the mood at the reception (and even the ceremony). Intimacy is key.
The setting will be the backdrop for your romantic scene. A vineyard could set the mood. Maybe a small, outdoor garden is more your personality. A quaint church on a hill is a perfect visual.
But the center of your romantic theme is you. Showcase your love through vows, a special dance or other symbol of your love.
The finer details could include having the guests throw flower petals as you leave the ceremony; exit stage right in a horse-drawn carriage; in the evening line your exit path with candles; large candelabras on your guests' tables at the reception; messages of love scrawled on tiny pieces of paper can serve as confetti; name your tables after your favorite love scenes or movies; an elegant cake with any kind of chocolate; choose soft tones for a mellow theme or deep, rich colors (like chocolate) to emphasize the romantic theme; personalize bottles of wine as favors; an orchestra or quartet playing your favorite romantic tunes (or a band or DJ); finally, choose every detail in line with your theme from your dress, hair and shoes to your linens and flowers.

Things that scream ROMANCE:
chocolate
wine
strawberrys
roses
rose petals
red
white
pink
silks and satins
candles
elegant finger foods and fancy cocktails
poetry
elegant fonts
orchestra
lights
dancing
moonlight
stars
instrumental music
horse drawn carriage rides
Some Ideas:
- use famous couples in history, favorite romance songs, etc as table names
- candlelight evening weddings are very romantic, as is dancing under the stars. See if you can rent a tent with "skylights" that can be closed if it rains, but open to the stars otherwise.

a church, with candles, violins playing, and red rose petals scattered around is very romantic.
Red is the color of love, so its important to incorporate it as much as you can.
Red roses for decorations, red roses in your bouquet.
if you are wearing white, this will look amazing.
I saw a wedding where the bridesmaids wore white as well, with red waist band/sash on their dresses. This was the most beautiful bridesmaids dress i have ever seen.
Its important to have candle lit dinner, and soft string instruments playing during your sit down meal.
Decorate your tabels with love heart shaped chocolates, Red rose petals and tea candles floating in dishes as a centerpiece.

When I think of romance, I see a lot of flowers and greenery...deep reds and blues with a hint of white. Wreathes made of greenery are a great, cheap, way to add style and class to any venue.

Human nature could make you elect to seem. Kinda like once you're driving down the line and you notice a ineffective animal on the line, no remember how a lot you tell your self "do no longer seem" purely once you get upon it you seem.

Red, black and white.
An evening candlelit ceremony in a small chapel.
Just your closest friends and family to make it intimate. Roses everywhere and red wine instead of champagne.
Ok, that's mine. What's yours?

the truly romantic thing to do would be to elope, to flee with your beloved to some wild windswept shore, to whisper sweet somethings to each other, and eat and drink of love and poetry and drunken madness and commit for a lifetime of joy and compassion...
not to spend a lot of money convincing yourself and others that you love one another in a traditional wedding.
be bold! do it your own way...
or just live together!
