I just began using bit torrent, and after I dl an pplication or a program, how do i go about installing it? So far it puts all the files of the program into a folder and there is no .exe file ever that I can run to install the new software. I tried putting them into a .zip file and running them that way also. Is there an installation program i need to get to be able to install the software or is there another way? Any helpful advice is welcome thanks.

If you have downloaded "something", it's either in a compressed file type such as RAR or ZIP, or in a disc image file such as ISO.
If it's RAR or ZIP, open the file with WinZIP or WinRAR or 7Zip (free).
If it's some other type of file, search at wotsit.org and it'll tell you what type of file it is and how to open it.
