Very unlikely to cause health problems. But your hair may get frizzy and dried out.
Hey has mom or gramma ever told you don't go outside with wet hair because you will catch a cold or death of pneumonia? Well....
Fact: Old Wives Tale * Docs say you catch colds from airborne germs not wet hair. Always keep hands washed and don't touch eyes, nose, or mouth...that's how we get colds.
Tip for your habit of making your hair wet...if you go outside in the winter with wet hair it can freeze and cause more frizz and drying out.
Good luck with your hair habit, hope you will grow out of it so you don't get dries out frizzy hair. Replace your habit with something less destructive like reading a good book of your likings =]
MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU ALWAYS MY DEAR

Nope...wetting your hair won't cause medical problems.
If you've been exposed to a cold virus, and you get chilled when you go outside with wet hair, that can lower your resistance enough so you can't fight off the cold virus as well. But going out in the cold with wet hair will not normally cause a problem.
